i think that most gay people dont give a shit about the term "marriage" or walking down the isle or any of that shit. thats the point people miss. they picture a dude in church in a bridal gown. all they really want is to be entitled to the same rights as any spouse.
I would say that's probably how 95% of all homosexual couples feel. It's not the love of walking down the aisle that wants them to be married, it's about getting the same perks. Kudos to you, PVS for making a bold AND accurate statement.

No, these days people can simply get married at the drop of a hat and divorced just a quick. People can marry to try and get around immigration laws, to help their careers - to benefit from the perks or some other incentive, for political and social reasons (since being married sometimes is an image booster in both business and politics) on TV for 15 minutes of fame people 20, 30 or even 50 years older then them (to which people might say "gold digger, she/he is marrying them for their money) and so on.
Yes, God bless the sanctity of marriage. The heterosexuals are certainly keeping it pure and holy.
That being said, if marriage was first created to be a union by 2 members of the same sex, then I'd be an outsider looking in.
It doesn't really matter what it was first "created as" - the fact it can, and has, changed. Remove religion and it is purely legal in nature related to legal considerations between spouses. And it can change.
Hell, look at the European nations that have endorsed gay marriage (or comparable) - what do you see? Nations falling into a dark morass of immorality? No. Nations that are on the fast track to extinction? No. A massive wave of straight people turning gay? No. The concept of marriage somehow being stopped altogether? No.
Not a single negative feature to justify banning gay marriage again. And if European nations can adjust what is essentially a piece of legislation, a piece of legislation no more wondrous or holy then any other number of legislations, then I see no reason why it would be inadvisable the US or Australia do the same.

Suddenly close to a hundred words, all bad, have entered my mind as a way of describing that post, and by extension you.
Now, occasionally it is shown people don't truly understand what they are actually saying, the impact, unless their own words are explained back at them.
Are you saying - the reason marriage is far from holy with heterosexuals is because of homosexuals who aren't even allowed to get married.
Do you understand how stupid that is? Do you? "Uhhh, marriage has a history of not being perfect because gays keep it evil and unpure." Honestly. Honestly. Do. You. Understand. The. Absurdity. OF. What. You. Are. Saying?????
Are you saying the history of marriage as a political tool is the fault of heterosexuals? Are you saying the negatives of marriage today are due to homosexuals?
Acouse I do it means to be unpure which is someone who is without sin in there life.Evil is doing something that is againt god and others.jm
Impure! Impure! Impure!
And if you are impure you are sinful - impure doesn't mean "without sin."

Not blaming marriage promblems on gays at all. Most of the time it has something to do with money. My mom and dad were never married so I can't say I come from a nice marriage family.
Wish I did.So no I am not saying that gays are what marriage ends with divorse.jm 😕
