Oh, and if you want something "like it always is", you wouldn't mind being treated as property, being deprived the right to vote, etc. That's pretty noble. Giving up your rights and reducing your sex back to "things", just so some homos can't marry. Kudos.

I assume this point is to Alliance.
And I think he was referring to the fact the bible says "honour thy Mother and Father" (or something along those lines). There is no room for single parents with that.
If you say there is, then you should see no problem with homosexuals having children, as those children will technically have both a mother and father, genetically speaking of course.

The bible is not the issue. We're taking about the LEGALIZATION of gay marriage. You have established that you are against it, becase of your religious persuasion. However, this thread is regarding REASONS why gay marriage should be LEGALIZED.
And like I said, if you want things to be back to it's good old christian self, you'd have to give up your rights. Nearly all of them, in fact.
