Palpatine was highly trained in Battle Meditation. In the Thrawn trilogy, Grand Admiral Thrawn knew of this power, and tells his lieutenants that that was why they were defeated at Endor. Palpatine was running them on with Battle Meditation - and when Vader killed him - the sudden loss sent the Imperial Starfleet in disarray, and allowed the Rebels to defeat the Empire.
This is backed up in ROTJ when you see Luke dragging Vader across the Shuttle bay while the Imperial soldiers just run around like headless chickens.
Surely they would have seen something wrong with a known rebel dragging their half dead Commander-in-Chief into a shuttle and blasting off to god knows where. This to me seems to indicate that they relied heavily on the Emporor's battle meditation.
It might be true, and I would actually say there's more proof towards it but I really do think Lando would've succeeded in destroying the second Death Star if the Emperor had survived. And also if you watch the fight, more TIE's are being destroyed than Rebel fighters and there are way more TIE's even.
Yeah it wasn't that powerful thats why the Empire was the greatest Empire in that galaxy ever. And thats why the Empire won so many battles. Wasn't that powerful... 😆...did you even read the Thrawn trilogy? How can you say its weak. You have no clue of how powerful it was. Its powerful, becasue that is obviosly why the Empire became so great.
How many ships dit the Rebel alliance have again? How long ago could it have started to strike against the Empire? How big a threat was it really, and did Palpatine ever keep himself busy with it? He wasn't even on the first Death Star that would have ended the rebels if it wasn't for Luke because he wanted to do soemthing else (probably eat pie)
The Empire did not need his battle meditation.
