SpaceShipOne

What do you think the future holds after Rutan's SpaceShip one proved that even a small private enterprise can launch manned space missions.

I personally hope that it paves the way for space tourism, comerce and so on. I think that largely our overpopulation problem would be solved by colonizing space starting with space stations, the moon, Mars and so on...

I think you mean future? ๐Ÿคจ

Absolutely nothing. The only possible result that may come from this is a marketing ploy. The lack of interest in sapce exploration will still be the same, except for the people who can afford self planned trips to the moon. I highly doubt that it will cause any goverments to spend more money in space exploration. No money, no mars.

What about personal space cars ๐Ÿ˜„ like in the Jetsons ๐Ÿ˜„

That will take a lot of time. It is of course possible that flights will go through space to make travel faster, and tourists will be able to see space which is great for them of course. I don't think it would do all that much. No Star Wars in the near future.

How about the Jetsons ๐Ÿ˜„

I think that would be narly if we lived the lives of jetsons. You press a button on a machine and poof you get a steak dinner. I think that flying cars could be a reality within a few years. If scientists and engineers from around the world worked together. I dont think the world is ready for flying cars though, it is hard enough for people to drive land vehicles.
