No, man, I think we should start when all of it began. And have our characters connected to the main characters in the movies (Like Viktor, or any of the Corvinus family.) some how. I mean we already tried the modern verson and you see how it turned out.

He's not a hybrid. He was the first vampire. Thus, he has powers other vampires don'. He's pretty much just a super vamp. Not a hybrid. There's no lycan gene in him. The other whatshisface is the first Lycan. his son. So, by drinking Alexx's blood, Selen becaomes an ubervamp too. She's not a hybrid. So....yeah. Don't start with me on my Underworld knowledge. e.e It's my life. So...I know things. =P

i stand by my theories. because Alexxander Corvinus wasn't the first Vampyre, Markus was. As William was the first Lycan. Read the opning txt on Evolution again.
