"Dunno who you guys are, but I HATE being called a target..." His eyes grew black, the guns quivering in his hands as he felt the inevitability of the Change growing within him. He fought the urge to transform, though he knew that it may be necessary in order to escape the throes of battle drawing nearer with each second. "You're all really starting to piss me off..." He holstered his guns, moving to walk away. "I have bigger fish to fry than your worthless hides. Another day, maybe. I have a hunt of my own to partake in." Axel turned his back on the others, walking casually off toward his mark. He wouldn't have long until daylight, and by then, the mark would be impossible to find again for weeks. "Their Oprah moment aside, those idiots might actually be useful if they weren't working to kill me... That one, though..."
Axel smirked, head down, and then leapt aside at the last second, the dog tackling this newcomer instead. "Oh, the irony." He turned and walked back over to the spot he'd first started in. "You'll be damned? Bit late for that, isn't it? I mean, no matter how many you kill in His name, the fact remains, you're a monster. And you can't buy your way out of the damnation that stems from that fact. So yes, you'll be damned. Whether I get away or not." He cocked his head and smirked before sitting down and lighting a cigarette. "Just like the rest of us will be damned, simply for being what we are." He sneered a bit, knowing he'd be spending the next few weeks tracking down his mark again... That would dock his pay considerably, which pissed him off worse than the added effort he would have to put into this hunt.
Kell saw the dodge but didnt react to it. The hound takled Kell to the ground. He looked over at Ana before he lept up through the creature that nearly crushed him, the force of the energy jump, had it been combined with his sword, would have sliced the hound neatly in half or even severed it irepairably, Instead the hound was sent flying into the air landing hard to the ground. Kell landed neatly, five meters behind Axel. The wet ground not affecting his balence. "Nice dodge." He commented.
He nodded. "Been dodging you Vatican dorks for years. You think I hadn't learned a few tricks?" He tossed away the butt of his cigarette, the smoke from the last drag seeping out past his teeth. "Well, this is fun and all, but everyone's Jerry Springer moment here, I have a few things to attend to, so let's either kill one another, or let me go live out my evening."
She shrugged. "He's dead anyways, he wouldn't have felt it. But anyways, about Axel. I don't care about what I am. Being undead helps me in what I do. I love the strength but the curse... It makes me sick. I'm nothing like any of the other night walkers. Don't forget that." She checked her watch and looked around for her helicopter. "Seems I'll have to finish our little game later, Axel darling. You got lucky tonight. If these two weren’t here, one of us wouldn't be standing right now." She waved and turned to leave. "See ya, you sick blood worm." With that being said the hound followed behind as they made their way home.
((Am i ment to know that? Im gonna say this for now🙂) Kell took out his cell phone and depressed the # button til the phone vibrated. He then sat down. "I was sent by a... friend." Kell chose his words carefully. "You let Axel go. Why?" The sound of a helicopter was heard in the far distance, barely indistinguishable from the background noise of the city. The chopper was homing in on the cellphone's homing device signal.
She smiled and shook her head. "Why wouldn't I? Next time we meet I won't let him get away that easily. Besides, I wanted to learn more about you before I completely trust you. For all I know you could be one of them, sent to try and gain my trust then to kill me." She stood up and looked in the direction of the helicopter. "Are they here for you?"
She grabbed the rope ladder, pausing and looking back down at him before she began to climb. "I am what we are hunting. A vampire who was pulled from the streets after being blooded and raised to kill her Kin. Nothing more nothing less." She gave him a faint smile before climbing up to the Helicopter.
((guess whos back ^_^))
The Rev looks around and sighs "well, this looks like a little party.I don't have a name, i just call myself The Rev, but i know your name is Axel...and please lady take that weird hound away it smells." he looks at her back up and laughs, his top and bottom fangs covered in dried blood "wow...you look like a good back up...especially in a time like this"
