During a patrol in the surrounding area of his kingdom's castle during the night he was attacked by a vampire and bitten. He never told his fellow officers what happend that night but they got suspicious of his increased strength, speed and his huge fancy for red wine(secretly blood). He thought it was getting too hot in his position so one day he disappeared but he still fought a war a war vs Lycans. But fighting for so long he wanted it to stop once and for all.
