Punisher : hero or villain?

What do u think?

He is anti-hero. But he kills villains...I think he is an criminal, but not an villain.

Same could be said about lot of heroes.

Batman is dangerous psycho. So is Wolverine.

Yeah, man i love punisher he's ma favourite Comicsguy

I dont think the punisher should be titled an anti-hero anymore. An anti- hero is more of a person who does heroic things, but only on their own terms and when they can benefit from heroic actions. If there was a lady being mugged, punisher wouldnt think twice about taking action in that situation. The punisher puts innocent lives before himself, he just kills most baddies instead of sending them to jail. That is the only difference between the punisher and say...batman.

No, he kills for vengeance.

Punisher kills for vengeance, but also for his way of justice.
You're guilty?You're dead.
He has destroyed criminal families and organizations alone, without him, NY in the Marvel Universe would be a worst place than it was before.
Also I don't think that killing assassins and those who use violence on the weaks it's wrong.

Batman doesn't go blowing the criminals he fights away. And Wolverine, well, in my opinion, I think Castle has a bigger body count annually than Logan does. Maybe not this year though...
