There was a sudden attack on the New Republic's capitol of Coruscant and the Jedi Knights sense a great evil coming. The attackers are a army of droids called the Great Army of Sethar, a planet ruled by the Sethar Droid Empire.

At that time there has been rumors that the Black Sun created a army in a underground facility, without the Republic noticing. But they just don't have armies, they have conquered worlds that they conquered secretly without the Republic noticing.

The Republic took notice to this and they sent two Jedi Knights, Ben Skywalker and his apprentice Keel Solo, to investigate this problem. They where sent to the world of Tatooine, because many people believe that this is the Black Sun's home base......
