I love July 4th and all but last night in the three hours leading up to the fireworks I was eaten alive by about 3 million mosquitos and gnats.

After I collected by half-decomposed body, I was able to enjoy a modest half-hour display of the sky lighting up.

My Dad got bit by a gnat yesterday I think. Always happens when he goes into our garden.

Except this time his arm and hand got swollen up like a pig in a war and he had to have his wedding ring cut off.

True story.

We set off some rockets we bought on an indian reservation last year. And then we tried these artillery shell things that looked harmless enough, except they made a really loud bang and shook the deck when they went off. We only did two of those. 😐

Mine was nice - just walked to see fireworks and stuff. Nothing too exciting.

Aaaah! 4th of July. I just love it. Baseball games, BBQ, Fireworks...yup better than Christmas.

Yeah....the misquotes were out here too....and it started to rain just a little....but I just love fireworks....Did some in the yard...and then watched some of the Live 8 show...

I love the 4th...fireworks!!!!!!!!!!!

I really didn't meant that personal you just said "misquoted" instead of "mosquito" ....since the first meant something too I found it rather funny......not in a bad way...more in a comical way....you know.....
