Al Qaeda does not exist - 'war on terroism' is a fairy tale!

I'm sorry, but this entire thread is rather ridiculous. "The war on terrorism is a fairy tale"... would you like to tell that to my cousin who is currently stationed over in Iraq? Take a moment to get off your soapbox for a moment, Novusordo, and realize that not everything that is reported in the media is what you would call "proof" of anything... especially this far-fetched notion that the entire Afghan invasion was completley staged. It's called media bias, and it is what the networks use to increase their ratings share. You ever notice how there is very little good news in the press? It doesn't sell well.

Yeah, the resistance in Iraq is not the Taliban or Al Qaeda mate.

THey are normal Iraqi civilians defending their homes.

The media would like you to think its the Al Qaeda that are shooting back but their proably somewhere nice and warm eating and drinking fine food provided by the CIA.

Al Qaeda and ths Taliban are two tools of the CIA and the proof that the CIA created these guys is undisputible.

Government sponsored terroism and crime is a massivly proovable truth that happens all around the world.

Oh and you're comment about all that stuff about 8,000 Al Qaeda and Taliban being extracted from Afghanistn into safety in Pakistan being made-up bullshit for the sake of "more viewers or newspaper sales" is utterly ridiculous and is an hystericaly poor argument.

Well I won't comment on Alex Jones, David Icke,Illuminatis, Lizardmen or anything else that I haven't found convincing proof of, but that 'Power of nightmares series' on BBC2 was damned convincing, backed up what it said well...

I found it very illuminating to see the comparisons between the way that the US whipped up enough fear of the Russians in the Cold War to sustain public backing of the arms race and as an excuse to crack down on its own citizens ('You're a dirty commie traitor if ya don't play ball' tactics and ensuring that conservative Presidents were more favoured during these times so that they could 'defend' the country against the projected/blown up threat... and what is going on now (As similar tactics have been employed throughout history...)

This series was WAY more credible than other features on conspiracies and the like and I implore you all to actually check it out....
The truth of this all, it would seem is indeed quite ugly.
But entirely worth checking out..
From what I remembered of it, it didn't reach/stretch for anything and offered fact rather than hypothesis...

I hope that before the basklash on this takes hold, that the backlashers will actually have seen it first in this case...

I'm not even going to step into the ring over this conspiracy stuff. If its true then anyone with concrete proof of it would get shut down quick.

But I will say this. From a purely logical, profit oriented view it is sensible to attempt to cultivate influence on both sides of a conflict. If you control both sides of the coin, you can't lose.

And your rationale for this statement is? Let me guess... you've got proof out of the latest issue of the National Enquirer to disprove it. Try putting a little more effort into providing your "proof" and shooting down other people's opinions. There is nothing factual in your above statement as it stands... it is merely a statement of opinion, just like mine.

By the way, regarding the media bias statement... I was speaking in terms of generality, not specifically on the stage Afghan invasion reference. (Prior to your posting, I hadn't heard word one about this.) Not only do you need to work on your debate tactics, you need lessons in reading comprehension.

Reflecting back on your initial post... exactly why did you initiate this discussion? To sway people to your line of thinking? Next time, try not starting your post with "Those who are dumb enough".
