From a bigger picture no its not wrong, from our POV it is wrong. So I will just classify it as wrong, because saying its wrong from my POV is so much work.
Yes I agree to that

Wars has always included the needless lose of innocent lives....study your history.... But back then....It was generally for more than conquering....it was fun and humiliating ....a message for the enemy.
Like this today is serious business and not just the fun of Georgie

I really don*t get what you are saying....at all
All I'm saying is that there has always been many innocent lives lost in wars all through history.....It's just the way it is.....we are just more sensitive to it because it's televised now........
I don't like war
Countries fight for selfish things and humanitarian things also....somethings both when it's convenient........
There will always be innocent lives lost....in history....they were taken just sending a message to their enemy........
Maybe I'm off topic again......well...I am a dreamer.....thoughts always wondering around this place.

Your point is this
There's a graveyard in northern France where all the dead boys from D-Day are buried. The white crosses reach from one horizon to the other. I remember looking it over and thinking it was a forest of graves. But the rows were like this, dizzying, diagonal, perfectly straight, so after all it wasn't a forest but an orchard of graves. Nothing to do with nature, unless you count human nature.

I've been to the Omaha beach cemetery and seen the 360 degree footage in the Cinema there, fantastic editing btw.
My point is this
[I]n such a world of conflict, a world of victims and executioners, it is the job of thinking people, not to be on the side of the executioners.

I've been thinking--just a little bit, mind you 🙂--and I've decided that if the media were in charge of informing the public about WWII (assuming, of course, that the media were as prevalent then as they are today), protestors would be lining the streets calling it an unjust war.
That doesn't have much to do with this topic, but I was doing a bit of thinking. Just a little bit.

Somehow I doubt this 😄
