lol, The Wizard of Oz. When all the bats came.

the fly (the 1986 remake) i used to be scared of jeff goldbleum in it but now i love that movie its my new fave

I wasn't necessarily a KID, per se, but when I was about 15 I watched The Changeling alone at night for the first time and I literally slept with my light on that night. Very scary flick about a haunted house and the very pissed off ghost of a 9 year old boy.

It scared the shit outta me.

It was probably d scariest ever.as a kid

I agree

2 me, Omen was also scary..

Yeah,that kid freaked me out

when I was about 8 years old my mom let me watch terror train with her and I had nightmares for weeks..I watched it a few years ago and realised it was totally lame! I was waiting to be scared like when I was little but nothing..bah.

ET -shivers- since then I walays hated closets...at night....with the lights out....

mommy! help!

E.T was nothing

i say, Boogeyman!fear

The witch from The Wizard of Oz scared me and so did the witch from Chorlton and the Wheellies, Zelda from The Terrahawks and the skelflin from The Dark Crystal

Right on Mr. Parker. Amityville Horror got me too:

When that spirit yells GET OUT! that really hit me hard, but what scared me even more was the red eyes glowing outside the window when the little girl told her mom that Jodie was playing with her..THAT was the thing that really flipped me out.

yeah that was pretty freaky allright.

original tcm

Actually I saw the Shinning when I was 9 and I was afraid of going in to hotels for like a couple of years

Hmmm... For me it would probably be The Shining (The part with the two girls in the hallway) That scared the crap out of me! Ummm..The Exercist..I think that's it. I thought the amityville horror wasn't scary at all, maybe some parts, but if they were, it was probably because they were surprises! I think The Grudge is way scarier anyway.
