Ryu doesn't have to be at his full potential to be far beyond the full potential of many adversaries. His skills allow him to manifest chi in a physical form and project it at an enemy.
What character in the Marvel universe or DC universe can do this using skill and nothing else?
well when he fought with ken...neighter ken nor ryu had mastered the hado yet.... so considering he was still at about the peak of his own skill, I'd say no...not impressive at all....
and while I agree that ryu can hand a lot of characters an asswhoopin...I even think he could take spidey and wolverine at his best....I just don't agree with how people are trying to use him at a level of power he hasn't reached yet...like earlier stated..I have the potential to become the greatest fighter in the world..that doesn't mean I'm gonna give someone the smackdown right now though...
off the top of my head, shang chi, iron fist, karate kid, and to a very low degree, batman...

Ryu is physically stronger than Wolverine, not only that but he got the Shoryuken (it will most likely K.O. him) and the Tatsumaki Senpukyaku is devastating too. And Ryus Shin Shoryuken and Shinku Tasumaki Senpuu Kyaku (which is like a tornado because it drags his opponent in if they are close enough) is just overkill. 👆
physically stronger? doubtful...I'd venture to say wolverine outclasses him in strength....spider-man and deathstroke definitely do so much it's not even funny.....however, I'd also venture to say due to ryu's inate ability to hone energy that he strikes with more power...that's different than physical strength though.

I never said he would or wouldn't and who would logan oblierate.
Don't use a hulk feat, wolverine is obsolete at his best showings, and you know he wasn't using that force. Thats obvious.

Deathstroke doesn't have a true precognition, just fast reflexes, and I doubt they are as fast as ryu's.At max potential deathstroke dies, on mountain eliminating blast and hes no longer immortal, or he will push it to its limit.
No, Slade's reflexes would actually be faster than Ryu's -- they are literally instantaneous. There is no pushing Slade's immortality to the limit, as far as I'm aware; he's immortal.

It's a temporary loss of sanity, where he becomes berserk. Like I said, it's only temporary, however, and he eventually returns to normal with a bit of memory loss.

Sorry, I understand this, when I meant insanity, he loses a portion of it upon resurrection.
Debatable, ryu has been training for years, and his instinct, more than makes up for DS's speed factor.

Bison is a cheater, and has powers beyond most mortals. BEST SHOWINGS,that is the part I've been debating with paeng. RYu at his MAX potential beats akuma.
