OHHHHh.....that we were. Most people (in the US) are like I said earlier are oblivious to the world outside of their own. So they just never even thought of such a thing happening here, even when its going on everywhere else.

That's what I meant...mentally it was a much stronger attack...and the target were chosen wisely........

Yeah I think even if it had not been so devastating it would've still been a huge eye opener to the US. The funny thing is, is that most Americans are almost the same as they were pre-WTC, just so worried about their friggin starbucks and gas prices for their over-sized cars/trucks.

I apologize if I made it sound that way, my point was that under Saddam (and I'm not claiming he was good) there were very few, if any terrorist attacks. People who were otherwise unaffected by his reign were, I'm sure, at least grateful for that.

yeah I agree 100% granted he should've been removed from power but not unless we had more co-operation from other nations. I just don't think it is our job to police other nations. Too bad I'm not running the country. :Lol:
