it's a bandwidth issue, jirk. creating another thread for an already-discussed topic wastes more space on the servers.
It's more of a presonal taste to the owner of the site. . . some people would rather you didn't make 5,000 threads on the same subject. Others would prefer you don't bump 5,000 year old topics.
Apocalypse
im curious, if apocalypse had actually managed to take over the earth and kill all the humans and weaker humans, what would he do? hed have society set up that the weak are killed straight away, so there wouldnt be anything left to do.
so would it just be like the world today but full of super powerd beings? would there be bankers and hairdressers and all that? would they all just sit around and play nintento? would apocalypse just keep raising the bar on his definition of strong so more and more of the survivors are executed and there are only a handful left alive? basically, i want to know what his ideal world is. the weak are dead, the strong rule, then what?
i think hed probably keep enough humans for all the ones he considers stong can live with a bunch of slaves while being constantly tested to make sure they were fit to survive. the stronger you are the more slaves you get. but then hed keep an eye on them all to make sure none of them get too strong. has he actually ever said his ultimate goals, or is it just his "kill the weak" rhetoric all hes got?
that's the big problem with being a world-conqueror. once you get there, there's nothing left.
at the end of the AoA, poccy seemed content to bail on his dying planet and use the m'kraan crystal to spread his darwinist doctrine across the countless other earths he could access. likely, apocalypse enjoys culling the weak much more than he enjoys living amongst the strong, and would have jumped from earth to earth to earth after his rule became uncontested, just for the pleasure of starting over.

Thats why Apocalypse and his plans are essentially flawed. Magneto's mutant supremacy belief only holds out until the next stage in Mutant evoloution comes along. therefore the best option is Xaviers dream of co-existence.............
you are correct, if i were a mutant i would totally join in his hippy ass group cause it makes since in the long run. if mutants like magneto and apocalypse had their way, everyone will ultimately be doomed cause they are flawed.
if he kills most people and leaves himself with a few, then there will be no stronger generation. he believes love is weakness and would kill someone and declare them weak, so no making love and no new people. he will eventually be have his entire world killed cause he is crazy and would be left with only ones as strong or almost as strong like hulk or juggernaut.

Bio armor is part of his body.
But for me Apocalypse from cartoon was far better (far more powerful, more cruel, more evil, he was shown as pure evil and he destroyed whole X-Men with Creed and Bishop in 1 second, literally), he was far better in 90 cartoon than in comics.
Any1 knows how tough Apocalypse's armor really is? In X-Factor 68, his armor seems to be very durable(no damages/scratches) while taking attacks from X-Factor and Inhumans(including Black Bolt). However in Black Panther 7, a whisper from Black Bolt will blow Apocalypse's ass up.... That doesnt make sense to me unless the difference is due to the writers' interpretations.

It depend on how he is written, it can be really, really durable, or not.
I definitely think that Marvel didn't do Apocalypse justice in the comics (not X-Factor though). Apocalypse in the early days(X-Factor) displays some melee combats with lots of shape-shifting abilities and teleportations. However, that "combat" version Apocalypse suddenly just died and Apocalypse got owned by X-Men and other characters. The recent Apocalypse just never uses his shape-shifting skills right at all. I really hope that Marvel will give some honor back to Apocalypse next year 2006 when he comes back to the X-Men world. 😄
Well he has been introduced into the ultimate marvel universe, as he appeared to Mr. sinsiter and told him what to do, then he told Big MR S to kill himself, but he aint dead he is jail! with deathstrike haha, here i saw a thread of dazzlerdying by deathstrike in prison with sinister hahaha! and Apocalypse is much better when he fights, like i mean i hope the dont make him the kind of guy who stands back and does nothing in ultimate x-men!
He'll be back in regular X-men too.
Cable and Deadpool with have a prelude to his return and then in X-men 182 you better start debating which of the muties left on earth will be used as horsemen. I'm thinking Lorna or Bobby right now. Maybe Warren again since he is losing his wings...
X-men 182 cover...
