Dan had ran right past everybody and came back.

"Hey Tianna, Diana, Lance, Rori, Dave. Not to scare you, but a gang of super-villians is heading this wayu and will be here around wednesday night. just thought you should know. can i have one?"

Dan grabbed a hash brown floating in mid-air.

" well that cant be good..." *sips milk*

-sighs as he stares at his breakfest-

"Im used to super-villians by now, i think" he said. he staarted to think.. "What do you meen by raid?"he said worried.

Dan gulped down some Orange juice.

"So, what do we have for first period?"

"Probably depends" he said calmly. "Im new here, so i probably walk to a new place" he said and tryed to sound abit smart.

Vathu sensed something powerful coming from the south. He ran which took him 3 seconds from his room to the corner near the table. Everyone feels a gust of wind. "I sense something powerful coming from the south." He said looking at them. "Does anyone have an idea of what it is?"

Dan shook his head

"Nope. those villians are heading in from the west in a day or two."

Dan opens his bag and takes out his schedule.

"Well, it looks like we all have Combat practice after breakfast. i hope it's target shooting today. Well, when you guys are ready, lets go."

"..... It's......It's coming from Gotham City.....What would be coming from Gotham.......unless...... Do any of you know about a girl name Vamp?" Vathu paced around in a circle.

"Shooting? How? I dont like guns" david said.

"Well.....If it's who I think it is.....Vamps somewhere here in new york."

Dan looked at Dave and smiled

"dont worry big guy. if you cant shoot anything, like fireballs or lazers or something, they will let you throw stuff like weights at the target. come on, lets go."

Dan started to walk down the hall.

-walks with them-

"I cant shoot anything like that. I hope they got anything to throw then" he said and looked at the others. Sad, accualy that he could not do things on a distance. Oh well, close combat will do, as usual.

yeah trust me your are really good at close range that is what i should be practicing

They got to the target area just in time. Super Coach was instructing them in the rules.

"Okay you maggots, the object is to somehow destroy the target from a distance. we have wieghts for you to throw if you dont shoot somehting out of yourself. is that understood?"

The guys in their Hero High Gym shorts and shirts stood at attention.

"Yes Sir!"

Super-Coach nodded and let them begin.

Dan put his suit and helmet on under his gym clothes. he walked up and said

"WILDFIRE GO!"

Dan's hand produced a fireball. he aimed, and threw it hard. it hit the target's bullseye, and burned it down in an instant. the coach put up another 8 targets and asked Dan to do something different. Dan thought for a moment, then made a flame thrower with his hands and covered the target area in flames.

"Good job McGreggor, ok Voorhees, try to use these 200 pound weights."

Vathu floated next to everyone. "Please......Let it not be who I think it is..." He said to himself.
