who is the most powerful Avenger in history - in terms of brutal strength ?

Depends on which one. Savage Hulk is on the same level as Thor and Herc. Hulk was a founding avenger, but he isn't an integral.

Thats why i go by whos the strongest having a long term with the team.

And no Hulk isent stronger than either Thor or Herc at calm levels. You just need to see that Samson is equivelent to a calm Hulk level and hes not stronger than both.

And CC is true. How many times was the Savage hulk calm ? He gets stronger pretty fast of his normal levels.

Savage Hulk is as strong as Thor or Hercules, even while "calm," whatever calm is, for him. He starts off just as strong as either. A completely calm Savage Hulk has another name. He's called Bruce Banner. There's no such thing as a completely calm Savage Hulk.

Savage Hulk has a name at Marvel. Samson. Hes the only one with that level and with no point for argument considering he doesnt increse with rage in any shape.

Well actually at a calm state Hulk can only lift 70 tons or something like that so yeah Hulk would be weaker at a calm state.

I think that is the hulk. thor , hercules, wonder man or namor are strong candidates too, but i think that savage hulk is the most powerful.

I think its Wonder Man, because just like the Hulk his strength is pretty much limitless cuz the more pissed Wonder Man gets the stronger he gets, just like the Hulk. Plus, Wonder Man has a higher base strength, as Hulk's base strength is CL 70 while WM's is CL 95. And once and for all, I think WM is the strongest cuz he also has more ways to get stronger, not only by anger, like the Hulk, but WM can also get stronger by such things as fear, focus, and confidence, just to name a few.

I think it is definitely not Thor. I dont think its She-Hulk or Namor either. I think it is between Hercules, Savage Hulk, and Ionic Wonder Man.

Dude Wonder Man is the same way. The madder WM gets the stronger he gets too, but he doesnt get bigger. Instead, the stronger and madder he gets the brighter and bigger the purple energy around him gets. I remember one time in avengers vol. 3 where he got so pissed he lit up the entire sky with his purple energy when in that state, he went mad and smacked Thor once, knocking him out.
