I' ve never blamed and it certainly wasn' t my intention at all to blame anyone for not welcoming new members.
In addition to my comment about slamming the door in their face, I highlighted in the Welcoming guideline that, instead of throwing around sarcastic comments, some should be more patient and help them how to get involved in the community.
I don' t agree Bardock. And if such threads are created then they are taken care of, while in the OTF, it lingers.
And Clovie, if you have any issues with me, don' t hesitate to PM me about it.
Last night, we had major issues with n00bslayer, and a lot of you were vocal as to how you felt about the situation. I took charge last night, asking that no more threads be reported, and it evolved into a nice little town forum. I appreciate everyone's concern and cooperation.
Paola was available to ban the troll. Unfortunally none of the other globals wasn't available at that time. There wasn't much I could do since I was not online. Same for the other globals they weren't available. We will try to keep any more trollers or socks out of the forums.
Now, IMHO creating little clans to help for a self promotion of a higher position is a little too sneaky and quite frankly...too obvious.
Ouch.
WD, I respect everything about you, namely your dedication. I have to say that I don't appreciate your assumptions, suggesting I'm out campaigning for a promotion. My work speaks for itself, even if nobodies listening. I'm not going to go into some longwinded diatribe, as that thread I linked to speaks for itself. All these months of me suggesting additional moderation going ignored are coming back to bite everyone in the ass. I suggested they take their concerns to Raz, and maybe that way, things may change. How many mods have to quit before the problem gets solved?
