I personally don't see what there is to prove or argue about. I don't think we have anything we need to prove. As Rogue said, we're all going to keep shipping Harry and Hermione because we believe that they would be great together, regardless of what happens in the books. I really don't think any of us are trying to convince other people to "join us" or anything like that, it's just what we think. And what questions do you want answered? Why do we ship them? Thats kind of a broad question that can be answered if you only look back through the shipping debate thread.

Anyways, where we we? What do you all like best about Hermione and Harry? As I've told you all, I love the H/Hr thing they have going and I love how Dan and Emma look together onscreen.

Harry needs someone who is gentle , and can understand him , and who is there for him.He can find those qualities in Hermione.Hermione hardly gets angry or argues with him . She is always there for him , no matter what , she will always , or al least always try to be by his side .

i love how they are so close and how great they understand each other. and i absolutely love how hermione is sort of like harry's concious. you know, telling him what's wrong and what's right, what to do and what he should've done, and things like that.

I just have to vent for a moment. Ron and Hermione just do NOT make any sense to me. I think what frustrates me the most about these two, is the fact that they are 16 years old, but still fighting like they were when they were 11! You'd think that as they grow older that there fights would have a little more debt with them. Not the usual, Hermione and Ron not talking to each other crap. I found that stupid.

Currently, I think Ron is better off with Hermione...

No NO no.... Ron and Hermione are so wrong together... in real life a girl like Hermione would never, ever, fall for a guy like Ron. it's so messed up. Harry and Hermione would be perfect together, and I don't get why JKR doesn't either (a) see that or (b) want that to happen in the books. I read in the mugglenet interview that she thinks it will be more heroic for Harry to do it alone, without his parents, sirius, dumbledore, (who she's all killed off) or... Hermione, who would be the ultimate support system!
