Yeah I know,it makes no sense. 😠 you said-ahem-xmen,also dont forget ahem-Batman as well. 😠 I dont think X-men is too bad. As a comicbook adaptation it sucks because of the costume changes.I mean if your not going to stay loyal to the source material and change the costumes so radically,call the movie something else for crying out loud. 😠 I can tolerate the x-men though because unlike spider-man or the burton/schumacher batman films,as a movie on its own merits its not bad because it at least had what they didnt have,a good story which is the most important thing for a movie. The thing Im wondering about now is now that they have ruined Mary Janes character making her into a Gwen stacy clone practically,since Gwen is going to be in the next film,what are they going to do next with her? Make her into a mary jane clone andhave her behave like mary jane? 🙄 Yeah I agree,Dunst must have slept with the producers of this film or something for them to have cast her. 😘

Does this look like Kirstin Dunst? Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to see Spiderman 3. I think that Kirstin is a good actress, I can't knock her on this, but they really need to get someone that looks the part, as far as The X-Men movies... Halle Berry completely ruined it for me, she's really hot, but she's not Storm... Naomi Campbell is the look that they should have gone with, Storm is African.

Jean Grey would be perfect if they chose to go with the older look, but they ended up mixing that up in a huge way. Look at Cyclops he looks like he just got out of high school! Magneto??? for crying out loud! They could have easily used the guy who played the Punisher, all they had to do was dye his hair white. X-Men was a bust for me. Batman was worse by far. The key here is the directors, why hasn't anyone ever chose Ridley Scott to make a Batman movie... he directed Blade Runner.

Well they FINALLY got a good Batman director in Nolan with Batman Begins so they dont need Ridley Scott for Batman.However Scott would be a great director for Spider-Man though.With Scott directing,there would have been a good spider-man movie made by now.

I like the guy who playes Magneto, and Storm is great. 😕

Dunst ain't a bad actress, but she is completely wrong for MJ.

I know Singer took some flak for casting Anna Paquin as Rogue, becuase she was so young. But anyone can see her growing into a woman before us as the movies are made, and into the character too.

Not all costumes from the comics can be put on the screen, and made to look plausible. They made have played the X-Men outfits a bit safe, but Wolverine's yellow bumblebee outfit would look laughable in real life.
How come no one is yelling that Batman needs to be not all black, but black & grey like the comics, if we are so anal for detail?

Kirsten Dunst is growing into Mary Jane with every film. Remember she was a teenager to start with, right along with Peter.

yeah she is now not only acting and behaving like Gwen Stacy but NOW she even LOOKS like gwen stacy.Her hair was more blond than red in that movie. 🙄
