Raevynn shook her head off and elbowed Jackson who in return unbuckled himself. Raevynn did the same and stood. The door had been torn off during the rough landing and outside golden sunlight filtered through brightly colored tropical plants. She reacher over her shoulder and brought up her sniper rifle before taking a step out of the pod and into the soft spongy earth. It was lightly raining, which meant her motion tracker would be nearly useless.
*Darrek and his squad arrived at the scene, and hid behind the trees incase their camouflages went off. He looked at the pod closely and saw some figures in there. He signaled them to walk out and turn off the camouflages. They did so, and all stood ready for orders. Darrek moved forward and then stopped, a few feet from the pod*
*Darrek watched them, and knew they weren't going to talk. He had seen a human figure before and looked wildly about for it. He thought it was a demon. He took a step forward and said* I am Darrek, Commander of the Covenant Elite Force. I understand you are on the run from the Flood. Maybe we can work together in this.
