Halo Covenent

Jackson opened his eyes "Uhhhh ow my head" Jackson said he shook Rae up. He opened the door "Whoa....So this is what Halo looks like? Looks like we're at forest and it's so familiar looks like earth" Jackson said he slung his dual sub machine guns and rocket launcher. "Hey Petty officer wake up" Jackson said shaking Rae again.

Rae's eyes fluttered open and she coughed once, taking in oxgen. The spartan got to her shakey feet and waited for the disorientation to ware off. "It's too dark to get moving. Maybe we should stay here for the night"

"Alright then I'll be the night watch incase flood comes" Jackson said he went out of the ship then went to the viewing site turning his night vision on. He turned on his COM link to Rae "I'll be up allnight so sleep tight for now you didn't get any sleep during we were riding this" He said and turned it off.

Drekken shook his head. He walked out into the cold night a light breeze blew through. He looked over at Raevynn. "No, we can't stay the flood will have overrun this place by the morning we can't waste the time. I've been through darker nights you have flashlights spartan make use of them"

"Huh why didn't I think of that?" Jackson asked he walked to Drekken "Then let us make haste we better get to the safe place and hide all of us need rest". He turned on the night vision "My spartan armor has a night vision goggle so incase we run into any flood or enemies we don't signal them" Jackson said. He looked at the woods below them "Something is moving let's move,fast threat level is increasing"

Striker walked out of his ship followed by the rest of the crew. "How'd you guys like the ride?" he said, putting his helmet back on. "Personally, I've had worse, but I don't know about you two."

Striker looked at their surroundings, taking in every last detail. "Just like the other ones." he mumbled to himself. "Okay," he said a bit louder," We need to get the index, not an easy task I know, but we just need to make sure that we don't lose too many men during the extraction. Then, we need to find the Silent Cartographer, so we can see where the main flood caves are in order to avoid them. Any ideas on how to destroy it yet Rae?"

Jackson COM linked Striker "Striker you guys better find somewhere to hide the flood will come and take over this place later well that's Drekken's opinion. Just find some place to hide" Jackson said he turned off his COM link and saw his radar "Hmmmm threat level is rising is it just our allies?" Jackson asked.

*Darrek lay unconcious once the ship hit the ground. He was thrown out of the seat and smashed through the windshield. His whole head was covered with blood. Dark purple blood. He would soon be in a coma if he wasn't healed anytime soon, and he had flown far out into the forest. His weapons were still safely attached to his belt, and none of the grenades had gone off.*

"I wander where Darrek is....Guys I'll serch for Darrek stay here" Jackson said he went into the forest it was only few blocks he looked around "Darrek?!" Jackson yelled he turned on his radar but no sign. Then something moved he went closer "Darrek is that you?" Jackson asked he went approching with calution the flood jumped out behind the boulder. "Ahhh! Damn!" Jackson yelled Flood was top of Jackson he doged the fist that flood threw at him he doged, rolled, and went behind that nasty basterd's back and grabbed one of his arms and shot it's head with sub machine gun. "Damn basterd.." Jackson said he kept on walking and found Darrek "Oh my go..." Jackson said he carried Darrek "Let's get you out you ok right?" He asked.

"We can't hide! The flood will find us anyway! If it is just the infection forms we should be relatively safe if we get moving and stay on our toes."

Jackson came out of the forest and Darrek "Guys! Darrek is down! Call Medic!!" Jackson yelled then bunch of grunts came squiling and carried Darrek. "Whew is he heavy..." He said. Jackson walked up to the ship and sat there "Ohhhhh there was flood over there alright can we get moving?"

*The Grunts carrying Darrek put him down on the grass outside of the ship, running back in to grab medpacks.*

"Alright after we get healed and fully rested for a while can we get out of here? I have a bad feeling about this place.." Jackson said. He looked at grunts squiling like little pigs he chuckled "Demon what's so funny?" Grunt asked "No it's nothing carry on healing Darrek" Jackson said. "Uhhh ok" Grunt squiled and got a medic pack and started to stich Darrek's head

Striker heard a squeal behind him. As he turned a grunt was running around with an infection form latched on the back of his head. Striker acted quickly and yanked the infection form off then popped it. He checked the grunt's head and said, "It doesn't look like you are infected. Hey Jacko, is that enough persuasion to get moving? We can have the grunts carry Derrek. Everyon! Gear up! We're moving before we get overrun! They know we are here!"
