War of the Worlds vs. X-men

For anyone whos seen the movie War of the Worlds, I'm talking about those big alien tripod thingies that attack earth. Can the X-men take one (just one) of them down? By X-men I mean Storm, Cyclops, Beast, Wolverine and ermmm Cable.

Tripod...?

Maybe...

Lamppost necked Spaceship from the original movie.....?

Not a chance....

😄

They have taken out Sentinels in numerous times which aside from the shield are much tougher and Beast could figure out a way around the shields and then theyll be history.
