It just shows how much she doesn't understand him. Ginny understands him, why he has to do something darefull and etc... So she never minds it, or doesn't try to stop him. Hermione is the totally opposite.

I know it is great to care for someone, but that is caring too much. If Harry and Hermione got together, Hermione will always hold Harry back. Like you said Tidus, Ginny lets him do what he and she knows is right.
