Sam sat on top of the roof of the dorm. As much as he hated to admit it, Tom was right. "I should tell them. They're my friends, they won't care... I hope."
Tom skulked around his room, unpacking his stuff. "I bust my ass saving his life and this is the reward I get." He said, rubbing the lump under his eye. "Where does he get off calling me a punk! He's the one without enough guts to tell the truth."

Suddenly, the door to the kitchen swung open an Bruce appeared.He looked really tired from a long night of being the bat.
''Morning, Dad.'' Jess said cheerfully.''Good Morning.'' He yawned as he got some Orange juice from the fridge and sat down on a stool at the counter.He pushed a peice of newspaper over to Jess and Justin.''Did you see this? There's a new Bat intown.''
Jess looked down at the paper and had to keep herself from smiling. The headline Read
''Bats has a new partner, whether he wants one or not.''
Jess couldn't believe her father didn't know who the new bat was.
'' No way! Some crazy teen trying to follow in the Batman's steps? Weird.'' Jess tried to sound as truthful as possible. ''You met her yet?''''No, I only heard about it this morning. Weird.'' Bruce replied.
Justin smiled and leaned his head on Jess's shoulder. "Yeah." He said. "She's crazy all right..." He ripped off the bandage that was on his chest and there was no scar. "With some more care and love, I might be able to get back on my feet without having to hold on to Jess." He gave her a sly smile.
Cobain bit her lip, as she walked over to the garbage. She looked inside, there was plenty of food in there she could play with. She took off her glove and placed her hand over the garbage. She could feel the food's energy running through her body. She smiled and lifted her hand, as a big ball of garbage floated in the air. She pushed the ball high above the cafeteria. Pretty soon kids had noticed this flying ball and all looked up. Before anyone could react, she made an explosion motion with her hand, and the garbage was on everyone.
They all started screaming and laughing. Then a food fight broke out. It was amazing, everyone was a mess.

Tom saw a girl laughing as she exited the cafeteria. He ran toward her to ask what was going on. He recognised her as the smoking girl he saw earlier. He sneaked up on her as she lit another cigarette. "Those things will kill you, remember." He said, childishly.
SHe smiled at Tom, and continued towards the library, blowing a big puff of gray smoke in the air. She shook her head, and looked back at Tom and smiled.
Tom look at Jake. "Uh... Hey. Tom" He said, shaking his hand quickly so he could leave and follow the smoking girl. He caught up to her and smiled at her. "My name is Tom. What's yours?" He asked coolly.
Kel was running down the street when he saw Jake. He ran over to him. "Hey pal. What's going on over here?" He asked listening to the noise inside the cafeteria.
