Tom was sitting in his class room, not paying too much attention to the lesson. "I've learned all this before... mom taught me all I needed to know before she died... Just give me homework and let me go." Tom thought as he pushed his pencil back and fourth across his desk. He got board quickly and began to stare at Angel. "I wounder who she is... Maybe I should try to get to know her... I hope I didn't scare her when Lance was here." Tom suddenly began to fell a cold chill run down his spine. "Something is wrong." He said to himself quietly as he raised his hand to be excused.
Kel didn't have to fly far to find Tom, he could easily follow the scent. Kel looked through a window into a classroom and saw Tom acting tense. Kel clenched his fist and punched through the wall to enter to the classroom. "Do not resist! You are to be destroyed!" Kel said, walking slowly toward Tom.
Tom stood up and backed away from Kel. "Kel... don't do this... I'm not your enemy... I'm your friend, remember... we're friends." Tom told him, trying to keep his distance.

Giovanna heard a rumble. She was so glad that she had her powers. She threw on a pair of pants and ran out with her pants, her bra and jacket on. She sniffed the air and ran to the classroom. She sees Kel. "Kel!"
Tom was pressed against a wall, feeling himself going crazy with fear. "Kel is stronger then Lance... He was built to be perfect... I'll have to use my head if I want to see the next sunrise." Tom thought as he noticed that there was no where else for him to run. "Kel... you have to focus... I'm your friend."
Kel could hear the voices of Tom and Giovanna but he couldn't control his movements. "Tom... Giovanna... You have to run!" He thought, wishing he could shout it to them.

"Kel, stop!" she screamed with tears in her eyes. Giovanna approaches her lover. "Don't make me fight you. You know I love you."
Kel was right in front of Tom, looking as though his mind was pulling itself apart. Kel's hand flew quickly but missed Tom and crashed through the wall. "R... run!" His whispered, sounding far away. Kel couldn't stop himself from attacking, but he could keep himself from landing any hits if he focused hard enough.
Tom was surprised when he heard Kel whisper to him. "This is going to be a lot harder then my confrontation with Lance." He thought taking Kel's advice and running through the hole Kel made when he came in the room. Tom saw Giovanna approaching Kel and grabbed her hand. "He's not in the mood to talk right now." Tom said as he led her outside.
Angel felt a bit lost as she sat quietly in her dorm room. She hadn't made any friends, that was sure. She'd met people but hadn't been able to call them friends. She sighed, allowing her wings to pour out of her back and wrap around herself. Tears came into her eyes as she thought of her home. Why had she gone to the school? It had been a mistake. She sniffled and brushed the tear from her eye. Angel was hurting inside. She was wounded from the murder of her parents, and hadn't anyone to even talk to. She wished she had a way to contact someone she knew. Her wings were glowing in a soft violet color, signaling her depressive state. She glanced at the light and smiled. "It's like a mood ring..." She sighed, and leaned back. Just then, Angel heard a scratching noise at her window. She sat up and walked to the window, opening it up and smiling as a white cat leapt into her arms. "HALO!" The cat purred and curled up in Angel's arm, rubbing her white pelt against Angel's cheek lovingly.
kel flew after Tom quickly, grabbing him as he flew past. Tom tried to get away but was caught by surprise. "Damn... he's faster then I thought he would be." Tom thought as shifted his weight and pulled himself away from Kel. Tom fell to the ground and tried to run before Kel was able to turn around. "Help... Anyone... big trouble out here!" Tom shouted as he tried to get away from Kel.

Halo's ear twitched as she heard noises from outside. She wiggled out of Angel's grasp and perched onto the windowsill. The cat mewed and looked at Angel with big blinking eyes. Angel silently approached the window and peered out at it, looking at two boys and one in the sky. She opened the window wider and squinted her eyes, trying to focus on the boys' faces. It was too dark to get a good visual of them and she was too far away. Halo meowed again, blinking at Angel. She smiled and stroked the cat's fur. "Ok, let's go see if something's wrong." Angel leapt out of the window, soaring through the air as Halo followed. The cat's body was engulfed in light as she turned into a larger cat, more like a tiger. She flew out under Angel and caught her owner before she could fall. Angel clung tightly to Halo's fur, her eyes watering as the flew towards the strangers.
Halo sensed the attack and swung her paws to the side, swinging out of the way just in time. One of her clawed limbs swung, slicing through the air as they struck Kel. "HALO NO!" Angel cried, not knowing if that guy had been good or bad. Angel sensed a good heart, a pleading mind... She leapt off of Halo's back and took the man in her arms, her wings glowed brightly surrounding the two in an orb of blinding light. It spread throughout the sky as Angel's pupils totally disappeared within the milky white color of her eyes. She reached a hand through Kel's flesh, touching his soul. She concentrated as the darkness formed into a ball in her hand. "Be at peace..." she thought as she tore the darkness out of Kel's soul. She flung backwards, landing on Halo's back as she still held kel's hand in her own. Halo flew towards the ground where Angel lay Kel saftely onto the cement.
