Simon shook his head unconvinced, "I don't know. I don't want to take any chances. I don't want to see all of that death and destruction. These students aren't ready for anything like this. I refuse to just sit here and let them take part in something that'll most likely get them killed."
Simon looked at Ben, Lance, Janet and the others apologetically. He turned towards the students and said, "For all of you who don't want to die, come with me. I'll take you to the Shadow Lands where you'll be safe from any attacks in this dimension."
A hand full of students walked up next to Simon. Ben said, "Simon, don't do this! You could be a big help if something does pop off. Plus, we don't even know if anything is really supposed to happen anyways!"
"Simon shook his head one last time, "I'm sorry Ben." He told the students to hold hands and then they were gone.
"I can't believe it," Ben said, obviously thrown. "He really left." There was nothing that he could've done to stop Simon and there was nothing that he could do to change how he felt anyways, so Ben asked Lance, "So what next?"

james had grabbed a few things including some artifacts that might be linked to the war between earth and the aliens and got in the jet with trigre and took off and flew through a exit that openned up in the ground "lets try to establish contact with the others" james said as trigre started scanning different radio frequencies
