Marvel Universe - Cosmic Beings - Many Questions

1) Many keep saying that a full-powered Galactus will be on par with Death and Eternity as the Third Essential of the Universe. My question is: Wasn't it mentioned somewhere, when Galactus first came into being, that he'll have an unsatiable hunger...that there isn't enough planets in the universe to quench this hunger and give him enough energy to be at full-power? So does that mean that, technically, a full-powered Galactus can never exist?

2) I've read posts that claim the Infinity Gaunlet is more powerful than the M'Kraan Crystal. Is this true? Isn't the M'Kraan Crystal the nexus point of the multiverse - capable of collapsing it if the crystal was to shatter? Can anyone wielding the Infinity Gauntlet destroy the multiverse?

3) I still don't understand how the Phoenix Force consumed the energies necessary to born many future generations during the Dark Phoenix Saga. Is the Phoenix Force the sum energy of all that exists? When a creature is born, is energy taken away from the Phoenix Force? When a creature dies, is energy returned? If that is true, can the Phoenix force kill every creature in the multiverse and be at the peak of its powers? If this is again true, then why can't the Phoenix Force beat someone wielding the Infinity Gauntlet by simply taking its life?

4) I've read somewhere about a being, an Egyptian pharoah, who was able to tap into the powers of the Heart of the Universe and became omnipotent. However, in all the threads I've seen concerning "Most Powerful Beings in the Marvel Universe", he wasn't mentioned. Does anyone know anything about this pharoah?

1. Good question...I've never thought about it before. I can only speculate and agree with you.

2. No, I don't think the IG can destroy the multiverse...it only seemed to affect the 616 Universe. The interesting thing is that we'll never really know if the IG was above the Living Tribunal or not. True he cancelled out the effect of the IG with the snap of a finger, but he and Warlock never actually came to blows, (they were very close), to decide who was more powerful. Instead he talked him into handing over the Gauntlet. There'll always be doubt in the minds of a few...but if the IG could defeat LT, then I believe it could destroy the M'Kraan Crystal, and the multiverse.

3. It's always been my understanding that when someone dies in the MU, their energy (or soul) goes to the entity Death. Not entirely sure how the Phoenix Force factors into this...GalacticStorm can help you out with that.

4. The Pharoah's name was Anekhaten (sp?), and people do refer to the HOTU all the time...just not him, and not even really to Thanos either, who also controlled it. As is the case with the IG, Aunt May could possess the HOTU and be all powerful...so people only refer to the HOTU itself, not who controls it.

I have a few more questions though, if someone could please help me answer them.

5) I've read in a recent post by GalacticStorm that the true Phoenix Force exists beyond space and time, in a plane of reality above the multiverse and death - its powers are second only to the creator. Does this mean that the Phoenix Force is beyond the control of the Living Tribunal, the entity that maintains balance in the multiverse?

6) Has anyone ever heard of Lilith...supposedly a queen of her own alien race. (The aliens, called "Lilians", spring forth from her body.) She's supposedly quite powerful, but I still don't know how she compares to the cosmic beings of the Marvel Universe.

7) Who are the Celestials and the Abstract Entities? Did they all take part in the Infinity Gauntlet saga? From what I can remember, the following were in the Infinity Gauntlet during the final, cosmic showdown: Eternity, Death, Galactus, Love, Hate, Order, Chaos, Cronos, "The Celestials" (there were 2 of them), and Ego the Living Planet. If they did take part, which ones are the Abstract Entities and which ones are the Celestials?

8) Two more questions: 1) Who is Abraxis? and 2) On what scale can Franklin Richards manipulate reality? Can he control time? Can he destroy the Universe?

1. I think it's more of Galactus as concept being the balance between Eternity and Death more so than power.

2. The M'Kraan Crystal isn't indestructible. It was ruptured before by non-superpowered means, so just about anyone can destroy the construct. I think a better question is whether the IG has enough power to combat a massive black hole that sucks the entire multiverse into it.

3. I'll come back to this later. It's a somewhat complicated question that doesn't deserve a glib answer.

4. Lord S is right. People always refer to the HOTU and the IG because IT is the power, not its wielder.

5. Like #3, more to come.

6. Lilith was one of the Sumerian gods that degenerated into a demon as they stopped being worshipped. She's much like the Asgardians and the Olympians--still immensely powerful, but not as powerful as she would be if she were being worshipped still. As far as a cosmic ranking...She is probably at or just below Sky Father, but she's not as powerful as Mephisto, I don't think. But she is growing, though.

3. Dude, here is my op. IT is the sum of all energy in the universe, but IT does nat have the power or the authority to just kill someone for their power(s). And it does not recieve power when someone dies, thats Death. Actually IT IS THE SUM of all living energy !! The more babbies are born the stronger IT is....

8. Abraxas is the entity that will be released if Galactus died, she is the counter of Eternity, she is very very very very evil and very very powerful. Yes he can, hell, he created a pocket universe !! ONly his brain isnt strong enough to do that, it would melt his brain. He can manipulate reality up to cosmic scale....

Abraxis's the counter of Eternity? I thought Death was the counter of Eternity...if you consider the Three Essentials...Death is..well Death...and Eternity represents Life...while Galactus lies somewhere in between. If Galactus dies or ceasts to exist and Abraxis emerges to counter Eternity, what would be the purpose of Death's existence?
