Well, here's the thing. Public perception means a lot to me, a FALSE perception even moreso. I just fail to understand how I come off as conceded, especially when I'm looking out for the rest of the community in my actions. Granted, I'm a very confident person, and like to think I'm pretty well versed in debating, and whatever else I engage in, but I'm far from being full of myself.
