I'm confused... forgive my ignorance. I'm a little emotional as I just finished the 6th book cry Even though I knew Dumbledore was going to be murdered by Snape I still found myself in tears from the moment it happened to the very end of the book, especially during the funeral 🙁

Ok ill try...erm....To resurrect Voldermort he used bone of his father, flesh of a servant, and blood of Harry, when Harry told Dumbledore this, he Harry though he saw a look of triumph in Dumbledores eyes.
We know that due to both Harry and Voldemorts wands having the same core they probably wont be able to kill each other using there wands: due to Priori Incantatum.
But the look of triumph was because Voldemort can now touch Harry without feeling immense pain.
So perhaps they can now kill each other physically, because i mean how else is it going to happen...unless someone gets a gun...or a different wand

I was just thinking... perhaps the fact that Harry's blood is in Voldemort will somehow hinder Voldemort from killing Harry. Wasn't Harry supposed to be 'pure' and 'loving'?

Maybe that will have some importance in the final book...

Harry is not pure, but he is capable of understanding and empathy, and also (primarily) feeling love. That's his greatest protection.

Question: sorry to bother anyone, but I had a theory - it might be crackpot, but I figured it was worth trying:

Dumbledore was wanted for Minister of Magic three times. Julius Caesar, in the play, was also cheered and implored to be emperor three times. Both were also killed by a person he thought he could trust but turned on him.

I'm not sure what it means, other than making Dumbledore out to be a messiah figure, but I noticed it and thought it was interesting. But then again maybe there's no connection.

Man.....I'm so darn furious (*AS IN VERY VERY FURIOUS*) about the halfblood prince's story......

I mean.....WOAH! i'm still in the state of being SHOCK! why....how...and Damn....are the words i could only think of today....

My ever-favorite wise, old wizard (*sniff...sniff*).........DEAD...
as in killed by the darn ugly git potions master...........

How Stupid....well yeah i was expecting that Dumbledore will die...but not in this book....i was thinking of the last book......
and what shock me most is Lupin and Tonk's er....relationship (*blush*)
and WHAT! fleur and bill engaged? shocking indeed......

well it was sort of funny yet...dissapointing...i cant understand how i feel today.....

i'm also upset about Harry dating Ginny coz Hermione suits him...and Ron got her affection, more likely.... heart.....there were also lots of kissing in this sequence....(*BlAAAGH*)

dont have anymore ideas though....still shock...you know, you'll understand it once you've read the book.....

well tell me your reaction about the book.....how you hated it or love it but i would really love to hear your negative sentiments....

I liked the book and I still love Draco and Snape, although I am upset with them. I hope harry seeks revenge for dumbledore but I hope he kills Voldy not Draco and snape...Draco was lured by Voldy and Snape was only portecting draco ( the unbreakable vow). I think Ron and Hermione make a good couple..Harry wand Ginny seemed too good to last, although I was sad when he broke it off with her 🙁...Lupin and Tonks also surprised me as Fluer and Bill. But Fluer and Bill seem to be a good match..I am not sure about Lupin and Tonks yet.

I was so awed to find out Snape was the half-blood prince 😍 I thought it would be Riddle/Voldy.....But like I said I still like snape and Draco they did what they had too......its just very sad dumbledore had to die. (I cried when he was killed 🙁 cry )

Okay people... It's a book! A story. Made up. (A very well made up story) but a story nonetheless... I thought it was an awesome addition to the series. I dunno if I'll hunt down fictional characters and 'slit their throats' because Rowling knows how to make me hate them...

the only thin I really hated with the book, was the focus at the relationships, Harry/ginny, ron/(don't remember...)
it is so BORING!!

I agree, I believe snape will actually help in destorying the dark lord in the end.

By doing this no one(in the Harry Potter world) would dare question his allegence to Lord Voldemort.

I also think it's interesting when in the departure Snape simply countered Harry's attempts, without really doing anything to really injure Harry.

Not anything permenant that would make him easy pickings.
