My snake just hissed at me

Oh man...now i'm sad....that snake and me used to be best buds..and now he hisses at me....what an ass hole.....thats the last time i try to pet him....and it scared the shit out of me....god damnit...now i'm just pissed offf....he hissed, i pulled my arm back, ****ing hit it on the edge of the cage and now i'm bleeding from that....BASTARD SNAKE 😠

Well I have several snakes, and perhaps it felt threatened in the manner in which you tried to pet it. Most snakes get scared and hiss/rattle if you approach from the back. And it's always best to pet is after it eats...
