I meant this day in age, especially with older franchises. If the actors starred in the previous 3 films, and they were successes, they can sacrifice a slightly larger paycheck for a direct to video release.
BTW, IMDB isn't exactly the greatest source for movie information, especially new releases.
"Rambo 4" is merely in Pre-Production. There isn't even a cast assembled.
"Indy 4", same deal, and no set script.
"Die Hard 4", again, same predicament.
"Terminator 4", they list absolutely NOTHING for that movie other than an update from last year.
"Jurassic Park 4", no updates since the end of 2003.
Trust me, 1/2 of these movies WILL NOT be released in 2006.

Sky High looked like The Incredibles, Part 2, with an automatic letter grade deduction in its rating for the lack of time between movie ideas and the steal.
The only similarities between "The Incredibles" and "Sky High" is a superhero family, which was also done originally in "The Fantastic Four".
Comic books and movies are derivative of one another, and "Sky High" is putting a whole new spin on the genre. I just wish people would learn to accept the nature of how these things are, in that ideas are going to be shared, rehashed, or straight up ripped off at one point or another. "Sky High" isn't guilty of this. If you want to split hairs, it's also ripping off "The Magic School Bus".
