No, Batman BEGINS rocked... errr... my socks
You didn't just say you liked Batman Begins. You said No to what Dock Ock said, and he said that Batman Returns rocked the house. To me, that sounds as if you try to tell people what rocks and what doesn't rocks. I think both Batman Returns and Batman Begins rock equally but I won't ask you to like BR because I think it rocks. But to be fair, Batman Begins is way more loyal to the comic book Batman.
I actually liked the dark spin that they gave Penguin! I thought it was sooo cool! I don't mind a movie being disloyal to its comic book JUST AS LONG AS THE CHANGES ARE GOOD/INNOVATIVE ONES. I thought the whole underground life was awesome. It was almost like the concept of it was a dark and fractured fairtytale. Very creative and extremely well-done...
And to be perfectly honest I thought that Batman Forever was by far the worst in the series (even worse than Batman and Robin). Yes Kilmer may have looked the part more than Keaton, but he definitely didn't know how to act the part. As a result, Jim Carrey ended up sneaking away with the whole movie. It would have been more aptly called THE RIDDLER (and Batman). That's just what I thought anyways...

Yes, but this is a BATMAN film, not a Tim Burton film... heh, Burton bha a weird mind that isnt good for cklassics like Batman nor Chocolate Factory but is great for his own stuff...
I would hate a Batman movie with Batman wearing light grey tights and a bright yellow belt. Batman Begins might be more truthful to the comic books but it still isn't completely. Batman doesn't even make his own gadgets in that movie. It seems people don't care about it since it's a "cool" innovation. Nevermind. Both movies have their fans. We could cry abouth it or just accept and respect it.
