Please don't use "gay" as a derogatory term, it is rather immature.

But i agree, it wasn't very good. Better than Batman and Robin... but isn't everyhting?

But it was "gay", if he means Batman and Robin acted like homosexuals...

I voted Batman Returns. I thought that was the Batman movie of all so far (the first Batman comes in really close second).

What about Batman Begins? 😉

Whatever you say, whether you liked BB or not, it WAS the most faithful translation of Batman in the movieas!

I actually like Returns better 🙂

Pah, BR had crap villains. Catwoman would be good if she didnt have "cat powers"

Batman Returns rocked the house.

No, Batman BEGINS rocked... errr... my socks

Look just because you disliked it,that doesn't make it universal for everyone. As this poll clearly shows.

I hate when others try to force their OPINION on everyone.

I just said i liked BB...

You didn't just say you liked Batman Begins. You said No to what Dock Ock said, and he said that Batman Returns rocked the house. To me, that sounds as if you try to tell people what rocks and what doesn't rocks. I think both Batman Returns and Batman Begins rock equally but I won't ask you to like BR because I think it rocks. But to be fair, Batman Begins is way more loyal to the comic book Batman.

Exactly, I havent seen BR for years... I dislike it because it is not loyal to the comic with Pengy!

I actually liked the dark spin that they gave Penguin! I thought it was sooo cool! I don't mind a movie being disloyal to its comic book JUST AS LONG AS THE CHANGES ARE GOOD/INNOVATIVE ONES. I thought the whole underground life was awesome. It was almost like the concept of it was a dark and fractured fairtytale. Very creative and extremely well-done...

And to be perfectly honest I thought that Batman Forever was by far the worst in the series (even worse than Batman and Robin). Yes Kilmer may have looked the part more than Keaton, but he definitely didn't know how to act the part. As a result, Jim Carrey ended up sneaking away with the whole movie. It would have been more aptly called THE RIDDLER (and Batman). That's just what I thought anyways...

Yes, but this is a BATMAN film, not a Tim Burton film... heh, Burton bha a weird mind that isnt good for cklassics like Batman nor Chocolate Factory but is great for his own stuff...

Quite true. But doesn't EVERY director take their own unique spin on every movie they do? And besides, wouldn't you be a little bit bored if the movies were EXACTLY like the comics? I mean, the comics are good, but how much imagination does it take to make a movie about them and make that movie exactly the same? I'm glad he changed things. It was a good change. I think Burton is a talented director.

I would hate a Batman movie with Batman wearing light grey tights and a bright yellow belt. Batman Begins might be more truthful to the comic books but it still isn't completely. Batman doesn't even make his own gadgets in that movie. It seems people don't care about it since it's a "cool" innovation. Nevermind. Both movies have their fans. We could cry abouth it or just accept and respect it.

Batman didn't make all his own gadgets in main comic continuity or have you never read Year One?

I know that but he still made some.
