Me too 😐

hmmm why is it soo hard lol

meh...

Just buy it for Wii, Nintendo already buried the GameCube one by delaying it anyway. Who really wants to wait even longer when it has almost been three years since it was announced?

My sentiments exactly. ✅ Plus, there aren't any better games to put in your brand new Wii for its maiden voyage.

Mario Galaxy? 😕

I'd heard Galaxy had been pushed back to '07. I'll see if I can find that...

EDIT: Right here. So not definitely, but Zelda is evidence of how much Miyamoto is willing to do for perfection.

Same deal with Metroid Prime 3, sadly.

yeah

do any of you guys still own the gamecube and 64? i do, i don't want to sell them since Zelda is on it and other games that i like too.

my mum was like why don't you sell your other consoles and just have the Wii..

but thats not going to happen closedeyes lol

I still have my 64, and for some reason the only games it will still run are OoT and StarFox. I'm actually kinda surprised it runs at all though, it's older than most of my siblings.

My gamecube, sadly, died due to some problem with the laser. My sibs got another one, though, that I usually have to nab whenever someone's not on it if I want to play at all.

I'll keep the 64 until it's burnt out for good, partly because I doubt it'd be worth anything anymore anyway. Can't really sell my bro's Cube, but if mine were still working I'd sell it for cash for a Wii. The Wii is like half Cube anyway, with all the same ports and stuff.

yeah..

i wouldn't mind selling my gamecube and 64 in a way to get money for the Wii..but i wouldn't to able to play Zelda: MM, Ocarina of Time or WindWaker on the gamecube ever again..lol

...So just play it on the Wii, with the cube controller. *shrug* What's it matter what the console is, it's the game that's important, right?

can you use the gamecube controller on the Wii? and can you play the gamecube games on the Wii??

wow i didn't know this

Yes, the disk drive in the Wii runs both DVD-sized Wii disks and the smaller GC disks. The Wii also has ports for GC memory cards and GC controllers.

So, if they bring Link's Awakening and ALttP to the Virtual Console, the entire main Zelda series will be playable on a single platform.

good one, nintendo 😄...

Now THAT is what I call backward compability 😎

😱

sweet....i'll probably end up getting the Wii then, not sure. Because i have seen so many mixed rewiews about what console people are going to get Zelda TP for. 😕

I 'll still probably get the Wii anyway but my problem is what console should i get Zelda TP for..

doesnt really matter, but im prefering the wii version for its new control scheme...looks awesome!!

i refuse to play Twilight Princess on the Gamecube... seems like i'll be missing out on alot of interesting Wii experiences if i do
