The soundtrack is with the official Nintendo Power guide, which is like... half the thickness of this one. I spent about $20 on it through Amazon (back-ordered to hell now, most orders have been pushed back to February, and they aren't even guaranteed to get it anymore), but it's possibly still available on Prima's official site for (I think) $30.

If you're interested in the music, I have like... an hour's worth on my computer, most of it good quality.

I like the scene with

Spoiler:
Queen Rutela
, too. If all the Zoras looked like that... oh well.
Yeah. I have Nintendo Power and I saw that you can order the guide with the Soundtrack. I'm hoping I'll be able to do that soon. I don't know though.

Did you get the soundtrack with your order?

Sure. If you've got the music, I've got open palms. Show me what you got.

How did you get it?

Yeah, when I first saw her I thought that maybe she was the God or Spirit the Zoras b/c she looked so different and better.

The others a like a dumbed down version of her, if that.

They still look good though.

I already have all the music that was on that "soundtrack" sampler CD, and the Prima guide is better, so I didn't see any reason to renew an NP subscription for either of them.

The Prima guide is better than what? The CD? or the other Guide?

Do you have a subscription already to Nintendo Power?

You wouldn't want the complete Soundtrack?

Did you just purchase to the Prima Guide to have it in your collection?

If I get it, I'd just be getting it for the Soundtrack anyway though.

I loved the music in this game, the Twilight Princess Hyrule Field theme is prolly my all time favorite Zelda song. I also loved the remix version of the OoT Goron City music for Death Mountain.

Which Hyrule Field Theme? There's one for walking and one for riding, and one for nighttime. 😄

I agree, though, MIDI or not, TP's music is excellent.

I like the nighttime one the most.

I love this game so far
One of the best Zelda games I have played

Yey, got this game for Christmas, will test it later (pwnd to all u Americans who celebrate Christmas one day after us).

It kicks a lot of ass.

Well I wouldn't consider the nighttime song to be a "theme" more of a sorta backround music, it isn't really "full" music. Nevertheless I meant the daytime music. And the "riding" theme is the same song as the walking theme except when riding its got more instruments. If you want to get nit-picky then there is also a "standing still" theme too, but these are not not different songs, just variations of the full song (which is in fact the "Riding Theme"😉.

The funny thing is that if Zelda didn't have MIDI music then you wouldn't have any variations, you'd just have one song playing over and over, it would sound better, but it wouldn't be dynamic music. So you can have better sounding Orchestrated music, or you can have dynamic MIDI music, that still sounds pretty damn good if the people know what they're doing (which in Zelda they obviously do) so the MIDI/ Orchestrated music is a toss up I think, there is arguments on both sides. Personally I prefer dynamic music that acts to what your doing.

I agree with you on the dynamic music thing, I prefer it to live orchestrated stuff. However, on non-varied themes and cutscene scores, orchestrated music would be fine.

I dislike, however, the battle music. It shouldn't be an entirely different theme, it should be the same theme, but more hurried and possibly a bit discordant, with more percussion. That's one thing I think isn't dynamic, it just switches.

Just beat the Snowpeak Mansion. The boss was fairly easy, I just had to figure out the pattern. The

Buttsecks is a pain in the ass, but you don't see myself repeating myself over it over it. 😐

I just completed the

I really am making this game harder for myself on more than one occassion.

I just wanted to get that out there.

I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to defeat the second form of the boss.

It was by accident, my finger just happened to push down a button, that I figured what I needed to do.

Also, when I first entered the dungeon, it took me a while to figure out what to do.

So yeah........I didn't enjoy that dungeon as much as I thought I would.

I'm glad it's over. closedeyes

I'm still enjoying the game however.

On another part in the game, where

I really hated myself after that.

Believe me when I say, I've screwed myself over on other games as well b/c of things like this.

I can't wait to see what happens next with the story.

It would have been so easy to keep playing, but it's late and I want to get up fairly early to go out and buy some games for my new Xbox360 and that was a perfect place to stop.

I really do need to start playing this game earlier in the day though. I always find myself waiting til night and then I don't finish a dungeon until late into the night/early morning, depending on how late I play.

So yeah.......

Ahora Mismo I'm 22 hours into the game. 😉
