Impediment, I think unless you highlight everything you ever see, you'll be fine.

wow!!!!...that the best single player game ive ever played...EVER!..
in fact, the only game that beats it is the super smash bros series..and by a very samll margin..
Spoiler:
theres only one thing i was very very very very (X100000000000000000000) mildly disapointed in..tha fact you dont know who the skeleton knight it...though judging by his last words he might be links father....

edit...stupid spoiler tags...keep messing them up..

I thought he was a past Link. Like the OoT Link.

I'm pretty sure it is OOT Link!

TP SPOILERS!

First of all, Twilight is almost certainley after OOT, the landscape fits in and all.
Second, the skelletton says he was a hero himself, and the only hero recognisable in this game is the hero of time, by the people at least!
Third, the skelletton knows songs from both OOT and MM, only Link from OOT knows both!

TP SPOILERS^

Nah, the Hero's Shade is most likely not the Hero of Time. The people of the land here say absolutely nothing about the Hero of Time, the only Hero "recognizable" in TP is the Hero of Realms himself (TP Link).

The Shade's armor is very much a Royal Knight's armor, all gold and everything with a lot of detail. My bet is he's one of the original Royal Hylian Knights that all Links are supposed to be descended from.

Plus the Hero's Shade being the Hero of Time would mess up the timeline even more, and we can't have that.

Why do you play MM songs and OOT songs then? Who except Link from OOT and MM could possibly know those songs? And we don't know what happened to Link after that, that armour could have been picked up later, and as the game says about TP Link's tunic, "possibly worn by the Hero himself", if that was true, then this Link should not be wearing a tunic, and he isn't!
And who was this knight? Are you talking about the one they talk about in MC? He worse a green tunic to did he not?

And how would it mess up the timeline? He's dead, it's his spirit! That doesn't mess up at all!

Alright, time to get complicated.

First, it's simply the rocks that the wind is blowing through that make the songs. For all you know, the goddesses did it. What, do you think the Shade carved them himself? Pretty silly system to set up with the purpose of passing on your art: Just hoping that someone might come along who happens to be able to howl and handle a sword?

The songs are just game mechanics. The Cloud God in WW taught the Hero of Winds the Song of Storms. OMG, that must mean it's the Windmill Man centuries later! 😱

It's a nonsensical argument.

Second, "this Link should not be wearing a tunic, and he isn't!" Just take a step back, and realize how silly that is. People who aren't the Hero of Time aren't wearing a tunic either. If he's wearing a knight's suit of armor, why wouldn't he be a knight?

Third, the Hylian Knights have been part of the story since ALttP at least. All the Links are supposed to be descended from those ancient Knights, who were an elite force that excelled at fighting evil. Just the sort to know advanced fighting techniques that had been lost to time.

Fourth, about the timeline, I'm gonna spoiler tag.

Spoiler:
In OoT, Link, the Hero of Time, defeats Ganon. The Sages seal Ganon in the Sacred Realm. The Hero of Time is sent back to before he even met Zelda. Presumably, this is so that Link can warn Zelda that gathering the Spiritual Stones and opening the Door of Time would only allow Ganondorf to take over Hyrule again. (Which if that happened, btw, would make the ENTIRE game pointless.)

If you'll notice, however, both Link and Zelda already have their Triforce marks glowing on the backs of their hands (the game's final screen). When Link is sent back (still bearing part of the Triforce) the complete Triforce in the Sacred Realm has to split to prevent paradox. Zelda receives the Triforce of Wisdom.

So what happens instead of Link's Stone quest? They split from the original timeline, creating a second one. (The split timeline idea has been confirmed by Miyamoto and Aonuma) Zelda and Link tell the King of Ganondorf's plan. Ganondorf is captured, and sentenced to be killed. Hopefully you're finding this story a bit familiar now (the same story told after Arbiter's Grounds). The Sages (not the ones the Hero of Time had to awaken, but the original ones, who were not killed by Ganondorf when he attacked Hyrule, because it never happened) attempt to kill Ganondorf, but his Triforce of Power activates, keeping him alive (note that the Sage says, in game, that they did not know Ganondorf had the Triforce.) The Sages are then forced to cast Ganondorf into the Twilight.

As further proof, notice that in TP, Ganondorf does not acknowledge either Link's clothes, nor the Master Sword. If a blond-haired teenager had done him in before, wearing similar clothes and wielding the same sword, Ganondorf certainly would have said something about it. After all, he did in WW. (which follows OoT's adult ending)

Whew. Okay, hopefully that makes everything clear.

Wow, I NEVER knew that theory, man that was sweet! Thanks! Gosh, it all makes sense now! 😄

Ok, I never knew that, and I never knew that Link descended from a Hylian knight, so I couldn't possibly know it wasn't OOT Link. Thanks dude!

............... Still only a theory though. 😛

But I have to correct you on some missunderstandings. 😛

I never meant to say that because "this Link should not be wearing a tunic, and isn't" it was implied that this was OOT Link, Hell no, that would be stupid! All I meant was that Link by OOT should not be wearing the tunic, and since he ain't it doesn't rule out the fact that it could be OOT Link just because he isn't wearing a tunic. (But now I know it isn't, but still). I mean, it could be the same deal as when TP Link starts the journey of the Hero he is magically getting the tunic, when the hero of time dies he gets the knight outfit from where he originally came. Just an example, but....

And the song thing, I just found it to convenient that the songs that the Hero of Time knew were all played in the game.
The Cloud god comparison is pretty silly, since it is he who activates the storms, of course he knows that song. 😛

Hey, I just wondered.... (Sorry for double post)
How can the Heroes tunic (said to be worn by the Hero once) have a cap, since the cap first came from the Minish Cap, which is before this first hero.

True, it's only a theory, like the rest, but it's a good theory, I think. Connects things better than a lot of the others.

For the tunic argument, yeah, I figured what you meant was something like that, but I had to go with what I read.

About the songs, yeah it's convenience. Why burn time making new songs when you've got old ones already made? Add to that the fact that TP is pretty much a love letter to OoT fans, and it just makes sense that they'd use throwback songs.

The cloud god comparison was meant to be silly. I know it's not the windmill man; I was showing how foolish it can be to simply jump to conclusions based on little evidence.

And to answer the second post, I assume the "first hero" you're talking about is the Hero who was given the Four Sword and "Light Force" (Triforce 😛) in TMC's backstory? If I remember correctly, the stained glass window that showed the first Hero indeed showed him without a cap, only a tunic. The cap was added to TMC Link's attire at the end of TMC, thanks to Ezlo.

Hm, yeah, guess they only wanna satisfy the OOT fans. Man, I really wanna see the flooding of Hyrule, but since there will be no hero at that time there will be no way to see it really, unless we get to see real cut-scenes of it in the next Wii Zelda....

Sorry yet again for double posting, but I just wondered...

How can the triforce exist in two timelines? Cause Ganondorf still has the triforce in one timeline, but in the other also? That cannot be right... Or is it that when he loses it in one of the timelines, he achieves it in the other, and supposedly breaks free from his prison? I don't know....

Look daddy, I'm spoiling, I'm spoiling.
Seriousley, don't look if you wanna know the ending....

MAJOR GODDAMN SPOILERS TO TP.

interesting theory...maybe he used the triforce to

Spoiler:
possess zant and make TPs story possible
...but we'll have to wait for GK 😛..
EDIT -
Spoiler:
Sacred Realm has to split to prevent paradox
..does that explain why
Spoiler:
there are 2 parts of the sacred grove in TP..the grove itself and the temple of time?? or is that just there for the sake of it..
??

Spoiler:
No, the Sacred Realm wouldn't split, the complete Triforce that was in the Sacred Realm would.

For the Zant bit, TP's story explains that Ganondorf presented himself to Zant as a god, and used his Triforce to give Zant some of his power.

About the Triforce existing in two timelines... well how can Ganondorf exist in two timelines, or Zelda? The split timeline isn't my theory, it's what Aonuma said happened - OoT had two endings that split into two timelines.

Spoiler:
so WW was based off one, and TP another??
Spoiler:
Yeah. WW was confirmed to take place after OoT's adult ending. If you think about it, then the prologue does make sense. When Ganon broke free, there was no Hero around to stop him because Zelda sent the Hero of Time back, eliminating him from the timeline.

yea..

ok, so i have an idea for a petition that should make everyone happy. Basically, i have a real problem with the Wii version of twilight princess due to some of the video problems, the weird mirroring, and the disorienting visuals/controls (i hold the wii remote in my left and joystick in my right), plus people have complained about the fact that the gamecube version is actually better for several reasons, so i think a petition should be started for a special edition of twilight princess on the wii from nintendo to have these features:
-All maps and characters mirrored to their correct, gamecube versions
-full camera control
-left and right handed modes for both controls and Link. To make it more interesting, make it battle logical- Left-handed Link has better attack, Right-handed Link has better defense.
-Add Lon Lon Ranch
-Add tiny Minish sprites randomly and rarely in the foreground.
-Add connectivity to the virtual console and gamecube zelda games through memory card-basically memory card TP save slot unlocks online updates through wiiconnect:
-Handedness variations available on all zelda games.
-Two-handed weapons can block blows but not projectiles
-Ocarina of Time map expanded to include parts of Twilight princess.
-New Ocarina side quest in Hyrule castle as young Link.
-new cut scene in majora's mask allowing better transition between games and putting split timeline theories to rest.
-Expanded underwater Hyrule in Windwaker featuring some twlight princess locations.
-Add gale boomerang to ocarina and windwaker inventories.
-add TP reference in WW intro scene.
-add minish to other zelda games.
-add third quest/BS version of legend of zelda to the first game.
-update zelda II sprites to stop mirroring
-add the original four swords, tetra's trackers, and the tingle game to four swords adventures

Is it really that hard to hold the remote in your right hand and joystick in the left? Im left-handed, yet have no problem playing that way.

There really shouldn't be a problem for a left handed person to play with the Wii.

It was tested out before release. One of the people involved in making the Wii that's left handed even tested it out and it was all fine.

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Same here. Even Miyamoto (leftie) preferred the current controls to mirror controls.
