forge vs. namor (forge got a whole lotta prep... namor is fresh from the water)

His ability to make tech doesn't come from his knowledge of science, it's his mutant power, most of the stuff he's made he had know idea how he did it. He's made an ultimate nullifier before, and since Namor is a mutant, he could just use it.

Namor is half-human/half-atlantean AND is a mutant.
He has capabilities that other atlanteans don't have.

Yeah. He doesn't get nearly as much respect as he should. He is perhaps one of the few characters who has beaten Hulk with physical force.

And Namor actually appeared on April 1939 in Motion Pictures Weekly #1, Batman appeared on Action Comics #27 in May 1939. Namor is older then Batman. 🙂

Namor may have even beaten Batman to print. Batman's first appearance was in Detective Comics #27 which came out in May of '39.
Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1 (Namor's first appearance) saw print in April of that year.
