I think Venom has some pretty bad fanboys. I'm a Venom fan, but damn do those fanboys go off! Check out the Spidey forums for details. Other than that, I think Batman has the worst. "Batman can beat anybody." Even Wizard seems to fall into this pattern. Every vs thing in the mag I saw that featured Batman he kicked their butts. Can he beat Snake-Eyes and Spidey if not prepared?

Blood hell, man, some of his fans would actually strangle people who say Wolverine has any slight problem. I often get stuff like:
"Wolverine is the God of the X Men."
"No, wait. Wolverine is teh God of Marvel."
"Actually, scratch that. Wolverine is the God of all comics."
"No, no, hold on a second. Wolverine IS God."
It annoys me.
And there are some diehard Punisher fans who REFUSE, I say absolutely REFUSE, that he can lose a fight he is in.
Well, I don't have much experience with Woverine fanboys, but for the sake of the thead, I'll say Goku and any DBZ character.
I liked DBZ for 7 years. I can see why people over hype the characters. I rather be a Goku fanboy then a Wolverine fanboy any day. The fanboys just take it to far when they rely on hyperbole to make claims or use their power levels to prove something they have never done.

Honestly King Mungi, I think that you and Darkcrawler are truly "transcendent" fanboys which is far different from the more common variety. By that I mean your favoritism towards certain characters/groups is based not on the ignorant and stubborn devotion that characterizes the other type, but instead on a vast wealth of knowledge and fact which you use to back up logical and well thought out arguments. Your preference for Alpha Flight doesn't drive you to demand that they will win against every opponent they are pitted against. 😉

See, there is a reason why threads with Wolverine reach lot of pages. The sheer fact that it takes hundreds of posts to explain that someone who is superior to him in about every area IS going to defeat him with ease.

The problem is that Wolverine can actually be a cool character, but we have writers who consistently have him hold his own against or even beat guys who are way out of his league and fanboys who say he can beat Namor or Iron Man. It's because of these factors that Wolverine probably has the most haters out of any character. Fanatical and irrational fanboys can really ruin a character for every one else.
Fortunately, I think it's been a while since he has done anything involving major PIS(although I could be wrong.)
