well, i guess i should say thanks for not naming me PERSONALLY at least, but i assume i'm lumped in with 'the rest of the group'.

and scoob, that is a good scan. it was a hellafight. like thor couldn't beat mangog with brute force, supes couldn't either. not sure if ANYONE could. but thor was smart enough to try a different tactic, maybe supes would be smart enough as well. i don't think that is partcularly irrational or illogical.

and cripes ya'll, lay off the anti-fanboyism. it's worse than the fanboyism it is intended to counter.

Superman is undefeatable, leonidas. There is no effective means of defeating him. I've tried everything.

absolutely not. his weaknesses are exploited too easily by ss - same as gladiator's. i wish i could come up with some plausible argument for supes beating ss, alas . . .

take away supes's weaknesses and you'd basically have your recent glads v ss thread. (which happened, btw in the same arc where glads did so well against ego. they were h2h and ss said they could battle forever because their powers were too close for either to claim victory) any argument i've made FOR supes over ss has always been prefaced by me saying - only if ss does NOT exploit supes' weaknesses.

SS has been said to be more powerful than: Strange, Adam , BRB , Drax , Gladiator , etc many times in different comics ( not just SS)

And people seem to forget than SS can effect organic matter as well (as in humans, and most heroes)

Meaning he can change it's structure just like any other objects

dude, i've been trying to learn that FOREVER! i think i can dig up the scans i saw on the web. i'll take a look tomorrow. i told you i think it was an issue of marvel adventures (out of continuity) and that stuff is ultra-scarce on the web. i'll have a look and see if i can scrounge them up.
