What are you talking about? He loses HALLE BERRY!

No loss could be greater.

(Just playing, but not really)

And believe me, Halle Berry would not be left to fend for herself. With all of her money, she and her child would be well taken care of.

thing is that if he dumos her, she is left to fend for herself with a baby on the way. If she dumps him, he doesnt lose as much.

He may just dump her before she dumps him. This could be like when Halli Bearry broke up with Dave Justice and she had to pay him..

It's HALLE BERRY. At first I thought it was just a typo, but you did it again.

I've been hearing things about Halli's chances of being nominated. I hope Miss Bearry does get a nomination.

She has a great part in Swordfish....droolio

Yes she did then. I think Miss Barry has a good chance at another nomination.

Monsters Ball was good, but not that good, IMO. Certainly not deserving of any Oscar.

She just won because she was nude.. She didn't win for her acting ability as some may claim, but rather because she took off her top. She is a good actress so the time she is nominated, hopefully she'll win because of her acting skills.

*snort* She took off her top then got ****ed from behind by some old dude. 'Ooh, make me feel good, make me good' like that has to be the lamest line ever. 🙄

I haven't seen a Halle Berry movie in which I think she acted well, but then again, I haven't seen many of her films at all

awesome.I see that InnerRise has gotten banned. 💃 His obsession with Halle berry is more than likely why this damn thread is still at the top after all these years.

She is the first and only black American to win the Oscar for best actress.

The beauty giant has signed Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry to a scent development deal, which will involve the star developing a fragrance portfolio and appearing in its advertising.

"Halle is an iconic actress and symbolizes beauty to many generations," Steve Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing at Coty Beauty US, told WWD at the Personal Care Products Council's annual meeting here. "She adds another dimension to the celebrity fragrance market. Halle has always been a little more mysterious, not quite as open with her personal life as some other stars. Her fragrances will allow her to present another facet of her personality to her fans."

The first Berry fragrance products are expected to launch globally in spring 2009, Mormoris said. They will launch in what Coty terms "mid-tier" department stores, such as J.C. Penney, and then will move into the mass market as well. "We're committed to developing a project that will bring luxury to the mass market," said Mormoris. "We want to bring vitality to that market, with projects that consumers find compelling."

Generally, such celebrity deals include $3 million to $5 million up front, with a royalty of about 5 percent, according to industry sources. Mormoris declined to discuss the terms of Berry's deal.

While star fragrance deals are not being announced at a pace like they were a few years ago, Mormoris emphasized that he does not see a slowdown in the celebrity beauty category.

"It's clear to us at Coty that the celebrity segment is alive and well," he said. "It's constantly being reinvented and refreshed. These fragrances are entertainment, but in a different way."

Coty's extensive celebrity portfolio also includes the scent brands of Jennifer Lopez, David and Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kimora Lee Simmons, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, Kate Moss and Tim McGraw.

When asked how the beauty firm plans to grow its brands this year, Kennedy said: "It's our intention to grow our market share profitably," referring to Revlon and Almay's market shares as "stable." The effort, he explained, includes a consistent spate of new launches and a carefully managed product portfolio

Kennedy impressed that Revlon has a strong product pipeline in place for this year. For the first half, the lineup includes two major face launches, namely Almay TLC Truly Lasting Color and Revlon ColorStay Minerals, which will be fronted by Halle Berry. Despite Berry's newly inked fragrance deal with Coty Inc., Kennedy said the actress — who has been a Revlon spokesmodel since 1996 — is still under contract with the company.

I have to be honest – it’s hard to give Things We Lost in the Fire seriously as a dramatic film when the title logo for the movie looks like it belongs to a classic horror movie. Can’t you see that same style text declaring the horror of the Wolfman or the Creature of the Black Lagoon? Somehow it doesn’t fit on the cover of a serious drama, making it hard for me to even consider the film. It’s sad when a movie’s packaging turns me off from actually watching the movie.

The DVD for Things We Lost in the Fire hits shelves March 4th, giving you the chance to decide for yourself whether you want to give the movie a chance. Sadly, they used the same logo on the packaging, utilizing the movie poster as the package art. Forget about the story, about loss following the death of a husband and friend… bah, forget about the witty banter. I just can’t get past the packaging. Here’s what’s on the disc, which you can find on March 4th.
