You just contradicted yourself "my friend". You say I shouldn't look up to someone that I don't know, but then again, you don't know martin luther king, but you'd look up to him, o...k...a......y.... And anwyay I have seen Halle Berry, Heard Halle Berry and from what she says and how she acts, I have a really good idea who she is. Maybe not completely but I know enought to know that I really really like her. And I am sure that if we met and she knew me she would definitely give a "crap" about me.
Actually I said, "I would look up to Martin Luther King before I'd look up to Halle Berry. " you illiterate putz. And I would be willing to bet that most people would find MLK's accomplishments and endeavours to be a little more admirable than Halle Berry's.
You have no idea who she is, you have an idea of who she portrays herself to be whenever she is filmed or questioned by the media. Get a grip on reality. What you know about Halle is purely a public image.

First of all I doubt that she would ever stoop to meet you and actually get to know you. And secondly do you assume that all people will like you when they meet you? Perhaps you should say, "I really hope that she would like me."

Yes I agree that I don't actually know her and she could turn out to be a horrible person behind closed doors, but I chose to believe that she is a good person, just like you chose to believe she's a bad person. You say that I am wrong for putting her high up on a pedastool. I think you are wrong for putting her down just because she is a very successful actress with a lot of money and she is beautiful. That's being stereotypical. So in a way we're both wrong, but we can chose to believe what we want to believe without anyone telling us we're wrong, because neither of us really really know her. So yes I have been wrong in some cases too.
So lets just agree to disagree and respect each other's beliefs.
Actually I choose neither to believe that she is a good or bad person, because I don't know her. I believe that she is an over-rated actress, I believe that she is a little off her nut (because I saw a few interviews where she made no sense what so ever) and I believe that she makes alot of questionable lifestyle choices that make me think that she is rather insecure.
I don't put her down because she is a successful actress with a lot of money and she is beautiful. In fact I applaud her on her ability to maintain a career with such questionable talent. I care not about her money (I have plenty of my own and although I'd love more I'd never begrudge another who had more than I if they have worked for it, which she has seemed to). And I harbour no ill-will to those born winning the genetic lottery and being attractive.
All that I really find odd is you preoccupation with defending someone you really don't know all that well and declaring love for her. I admit that there are actresses and celebrities that I find attractive, but I don't fawn over them and I found that particularly interesting and disturbing.
But I agree to disagree. Like who you want, I hope you two will be very happy together.

I was really trying to find out what people think about this movie "Actress". Yes, Hollywood is a "tinsile town". It trys to make money off skills that don't really exist. Hollywood only pays you what you are worth. Everything else is just putting on a "show".
You have to admit.......taking a chance on being a movie star and making millions is much better then taking chances on winning the lottery. Where else would you find a job that last six months and pays you millions?
Halle skills......money talks and everything else doesn't matter.....!
If she doesn't make the movies more popular at the movie threaters, then she will quickly fade away.
Sometimes acting skills are better exposed while being in the right movie and being the right character..

You may think that I failed to catch the sarcasm in your response, but I didn't and all it said to me was that you are jealous and you have a negative look at Halle Berry for some reason, I said just leave alone and let each other believe what they want without question and you still can't do that.
I never said I loved her and, you say you are not putting her but you really are. And you don't need to understand why i view Halle like I do, I am not doing anything for you, it's all for me. If you think it's odd, oh well.
