First off you missed the point, doesnt matter who's kid it is. No parent could punch a baby in the face unless they had some serious mental problems.
If by "practice" you mean punching babies in the face you would be wrong. However if you were attempting humour then 😆 .
Kids certainly try your patience but smacking them on the hand or arse isnt the same as smashing their face in.
