Re: Why I'm better than god....

1. I do exist. There is no debate about the subject. It can be proven over and over again. For an airplane ticket and a small fee, I can prove it to you face to face.2. I have created life. There can be no debate on the subject. A simple DNA test can prove so.
3. I don't tell people how to live. I do what I think is right without trying to force my morality onto others via threats of damnation and the like.
4. I don't pretend to be all powerful. I have my limits and accept them.
5. I admit to doing everything I do, good or bad. I don't pretend to be the cause of all that is good yet pass off blame onto others if something I do is interpreted as being bad to others.
6. I give people a choice. I don't demand they worship me, although they are certainly welcome to if they wish. I will never tell others, "thou shalt have no other Evil Dead's before me"...as a matter of fact, I don't Command anything from them.
discuss.
You also haven't murdered people.
1. You believe faithully that you exist, so faithfully that there is no debate about this subject, and yes... I agree that you exist. But like you there are people who believe faithfully in god.2. You created life, and ou are part of god, maybe god creates life thru you... who knows. For me it is like this.
3. I don´t think he tells us how to live, we do what we want. Religions tell, not god.
4,5,6. Never talked to him, so I can´t tell if he really does these things. What some religions tell does not necessarily came from god. I don´t believe that some religions are any closer to god than atheists are.
no, no........I don't believe faithfully that I exist, I do. I am solid matter. Anybody, for a small fee (half price for you BackFire 😉) can touch me. It's not faith, it's fact. My existence can be tested again and again and again.......all will yield the same results.
If you missed the bit of sarcasm, this thread is about the Christian/Jewish god......so the rest of your retorts are off as you were referring to your own vision of god, not theirs........as for #3.......both the Christian and Jewish religions are based on god's commands for humans.....how they should live. He has 10 of them.........he gave them to Moses........

I see you point, but that will take us to a long philosophical debate. For me, its still your opinion that you exist. Everything you say that is true, is your opinion, you can´t talk "outside" your self. Even science, and logic are perspectives. For they to exist, first, one must assume without proving that somethings are true, like the axioms, definitions, or principles. They are like science commandments, just assumed to be true.

Oh.. then I agree with you, I don´t like their vision too. Too much contradictory and limited.

And I can still doubt that yu exist even if I'd see you...I am good in doubting stuff....
You never let him, and god always does what is best for people, like a father, He punishes, like a father, He does all of this because he loves us... like a father.
There is proof everywhere that God exists. Look at the Human brain, The ecosystem, the body, emotions... do you really think that all this could have possibily happened by accident?

Nothing happens by accident. The cosmos has karma, and we are part of that karma. God is everything and no person can ever understand or know the will or true nature of God. So, why are you saying; God this, God that, as if you somehow know? You do not know, nor do I. If you go around saying; this is what God wants, this is what God is, this is what God does not want, you are trying to be God, and you can not be God. I wish you great happiness.

There is only one god, and in reading the bible is where I get my understanding of what he wants. I am NOT trying to be God, but a strong follower of him. He created the cosmos, he created us. He is 3 beings in one.
I don't claim to KNOW everything, but I do know that what I have said is true.

Why do we argue about names? Is this not really a difference over names? . . . Whether one addresses these divine beings as gods or angels matters very little, since their nature remains the same.

Did the fellows who wrote our christian New Testament sit down with the Revised Standard Version of the Gospel of Mithras open on their desk, so they could copy the best stuff point by point? No they didn't. Don't be silly.
christianity doesn't have Pagan origins in the sense that early Christians copied facts from Pagan myths, or did up christian sacraments gesture by gesture to redo Pagan rituals. christianity has Pagan origins in the sense that the religious ideas around which christianity was built are exactly the religious ideas common at the time christianity began. Core christian theologies are core Pagan theologies; early Christians simply adopted the religious preconceptions of their culture. Did they rearrange some things, innovate even? Sure. Everyone who ever started a religion did. But christianity's most basic ideas—God, the Son of God, miracles as a sign of divinity, salvation, baptism, eucharist, souls, morality, Heaven, Hell, and many many more—are all Pagan ideas.

No, pagans worship the things of the earth, and there is a huge difference between God and angels, He created them to worship him, and to be his messangers. They are not on the same level as him. Satan thought that he would become God, Went to war with him, and do you see what happened to him? He was sent to Hell.

I am better than god because, I don't need to be worshiped.
Why would God need?

We will NEVER under stand God, I just know that he asks us to obey him.
To give him Praise and glory. Why? I don't know, and shouldn't be expected to know, Why? because I am not God, nor do I want to be, have you seen Bruce Almighty?
