A Question? Could Human Torch of Firelord Make Sandman turn into Glass?

Probably, if the situation were set up correctly. Sandman was turned into glass in an issue of Thunderbolts, he was trapped by a solid sound bubble, then Golden Girl, Nuklo and Charcoal torched him.

well they've fought before.... when Torch burned his arm it just solidified into rock..... not glass... then Spidey bust it and he grew it back

Torch probably didn't get hot enough. When the T-Bolts turned him into glass, they had a specific plan worked out, and had three people pouring on heat.

In Comic book land yes, in reality using real science no😄 Traditional glass making is a two stage process, modern glass making involves more raw materials than silicates. They could make Egyption glass out of him again this is a two stage process and would require shattering Sandman after the first slow heat.

He isn't really sand, he's some weird sandlike material...so he turns into glass easier....
