You are not getting it. If Thanos didn't think of Gladiator as being stronger than him and his purpose was to make powerful clones, he would have used his own DNA to add strength to the clone...he wouldn't of had to use Gladiators blood if his blood was capable of making a clone 4 times more powerful than himself. He used Gladiator blood for a reason... Because of his strength.

Why is Carver trying to use the clone thing again? PR already settled that crap and told Carver to stop using it as Thanos himself said the clones rivaled him power in various ways.

Because that would take away from the story. The same reason Flash battles last more than one panel. We wouldn't have a story.
This is a forum fight (stories are irrelevant) and not a comic one (where the story prevents characters to use their abilities as shown before in order for itself to exist).

Choose! Either these guys fight as they normally do or they will use rare tactics as shown before to win the fight. Choose! You can't have Thanos using rare tactics and Glads not.

Yeah, Thanos laughs off Surfers attacks, and he's well above planet busting level.. An extended assault by Odin didn't put Thanos down, and he'd have to be holding back most of his strength to reach planet busting level..
Gladiators attacks aren't putting Thanos down.
