Okay, the point of this thread is to post a picture of what a character looked like when they first appeared and what they look like now. I think it's neat to see how much the characters have changed. For example, classic Supes:

Superman now

Classic Joker

The Punshier Batman cross over, I have it. I have it in a book called Classic Cross overs vol 2 I think. Dont have the comic though. I ran into this scan a while back though.

oh yeah in these MArvels DC cross overs, I like it better when they are all in ONE world, like this cross did. It had no Frank going to a portal to go to the DC world.

One of Franks foes went to Gotham while escaping from Frank from New York. And Frank follow. So in this comic, there in the same world. Which I like better, because it fits the story better imo.

i have a Batman Punisher crossover... but it's some other dude in the Batman getup (blonde guy)... and it's a mechanical batsuit... didn't like it

yeah they did 2, ONE with Arzel Bats, during broken Bat.

And the other with Bruce Wayne Bats, when he recover from Bane.

I have two crossover tbs one where it has supes,spidey,xmen,titans,batman and hulk

silversurfer, GL, Darkseid, Galactus, Bats,Spidey,FF and Supes

Yeah, the crossovers they did where everyone is just there together are better in premise, in my opinion. They usually have the Elseworlds and/or What If? label on them.

The crossovers with Access are just annoying.

Sub-Mariner:

1960s with the Fantastic Four ala Kirby.

Current Namor. Notice how they've smoothed out and streamlined the shape of his head over the years. Bill Everett, who created the Sub-Mariner went with a very freakish, inhuman look for Namor, while the pointed ears have been kept and played up, the gargantuan flat top head has been minimalized.
