My Fan fic

Down in the desert, not far from Titans Tower, two boys were locked in an intense
battle. They were really going at it. Flying everywhere, they looked exactly the same. Long black jackets, black boots, trousers and very black shades.
When they got close to each other, they fired two energy blasts at the same time. The
shockwave sent them both flying in opposite directions. One over the horizon and the other one towards Titans Tower.
CRASH through a window and wall, the boy opened his eyes and saw
Five startled faces before losing conscience. When he woke up, he sat up and looked at the five faces.
Two girls and three boys. One of the boys stepped forward, dressed in red and
green spandex outfit with black boots and a mask.
”You O.K.?” Asked the boy.
"Fine," Answered the boy
"You sure you came though the window pretty hard." Said a tall boy.
He was half-man, half-machine.
"Yes I’m fine thank you" He answered.
"I'm Robin, leader of the Teen Titans. This is Cyborg,” He said, pointing to the man-machine hybrid.
”Beast boy,” Pointing a little green boy with pointy ears.
”Strange little dude,” Thought the boy.
”Starfire,” Pointing to a red-haired girl with a friendly smile.
”And Raven,” Pointing to a girl in the back. She had short, wisteria hair and a
blue cloak on.” She’s pretty cute.” Thought the boy.
"What's your name?” Robin inquired.
"Me? I’m D." D answered.
"Hello D. Please tell me, where are you from, how did you get here, what is
your favorite color, and do you wish to be my friend?” Said Starfire quickly.
"Um, don't know, flew, black, and why not.”
"Hurray!" She gave D a hug that pretty much crushed lungs.
"By the way, sorry to drop in on you like that" D apologized.
"What happened?" Cyborg wondered aloud.
"It's a long story," replied D.
D told them the whole story. Well, as much as he could remember, that is. The evil
scientist, the boy he was fighting, called Dark D, how he wanted to destroy
the world, and how he tried to stop him every time.
Beast Boy was stunned. “Whoa.”
"Yeah. The problem is the memories and Dark D." Said D.
"We'll help you fight this Dark D" Said Robin.
"You wouldn't stand a chance" D said sadly
Suddenly D’s belly started to growl
“Hey sorry but you got any thing to eat”?
“Sure do, I make mean tofu breakfast”
And started to head for the kitchen
“Oh no said Cyborg you not giving the poor boy that I’ll make him a real breakfast and they both headed towards the kitchen.
D turned to Raven “is it usually like this?
“Yup” she said,
“Hey you’re from Azerath aren’t you”? Said D
“Yeah,” Raven said with a note of surprise in her voice. “How did you know?”
“The Shape of the chakra on your forehead was a dead give away.”
“You know about Azerath?”
“Yeah, stayed there for two months. One of my battles with Dark D sort of tore a hole in dimensions. I closed it mind you from the other side, then two months later, I left and went to London, then Hong Kong, then Paris, Luxemburg, then New York and now here”
“So how long you planning to stay here”?
“Don’t know really a few days maybe”
“Ok D breakfast” yelled beast boy
Cyborg and Beast Boy had both made breakfast two slap up meals
D ate everything.
“Thanks that was very nice”
“What? You like BB’s cooking?!?” Asked Cyborg
“See some people appreciate good food “said Beast boy smugly
“Ye well he’s probably laying so not to offend you right D”
“Probably” said D
“Titans trouble” said Robin
“Cool what sort of trouble”?
“The bad kind. Cinderblock.” said Robin
“Who’s that?” Asked D
“A bad guy. A real bad guy.” said Cyborg
“Right well, come on team then let’s get him,” said D
“First two things D. One you’re coming with us anyway, we are not leaving you here on your own
and two your not part of this team, not yet” said Raven
“Ok, ok, ok, chill girl chill I’m sorry Sheesh. Anyway let’s get over and stop this cinderblock,” said D defensively so with that they headed towards the city

Cinderblock and some of Slade’s robots were tearing up a mall when the titans and D arrived
“Titans go,” said Robin
“Hello? Are you forgetting something?” Asked D, pointing to himself.
“You to”
“Ok cool”
D headed towards the first robot ducked under its punch and knocked it head off it flew towards Raven who was dealing with two robots
“Hey Raven heads up” yelled D
But he knew Raven would have not time to react, so he ran as fast as he could and grabbed the head just before it hit her
“Don’t worry I’ve always got your back” smiled D
“Oh I’m so lucky,” said Raven darkly
D shrugged his shoulders “Suite yourself”
“Don’t worry I will”
D went back in to the fight and destroyed 3 more robots
He was enjoying himself then, suddenly a large resounding CRACK!! Was heard throughout the mall. Cinderblock had hit him in the back of the head “Aaaaaouch” yelled D holding his head his shades flashed red for a second and with one swift angry uppercut D punched cinderblock through the ceiling
Two minutes later he came back down unconscious later the police took him away they said he had huge concussion and a swollen jaw
“Dude that was so cool! You blasted him right through the roof, totally awesome!” Exclaimed Beastboy
“Yeah, I hate getting sucker punched,” said D still rubbing his head
“When Cinderblock hit you your glasses flashed red. Why? Asked Raven
“They did”? Asked D, looking confused.
Raven nodded
D shrugged his shoulders “I don’t know, I’ve never noticed before”
“See Raven? Thanks to our new friend we are victorious!” beamed Starfire
“He didn’t do any thing none of us could do already” said Raven
“Oh I don’t know Raven, could you send cinderblock through the roof with one punch” asked Cyborg
“Ok maybe not exactly the same as him, but we could have still beat them,” said Raven
“Look lets just head back home.” said Robin
So they headed back to the tower. Slade was on their video screen when they entered the room. “Hello Titans.” said Slade Darkly
“Slade” growled Robin
“Dude, I thought he was dead" said Beastboy
"You'll be amazed was genetic cloning can do"
“Ah, I see you got a new member to your team. Well I also got a new member” and out from the shadow stepped a darkly tanned skin girl with Black hair in a pixie cut. She was wearing all white outfit. She had a pendant with something written on it, and also had Dark green eyes. She carried a sword as well, a dangerous looking one.
Then a second girl stepped out. She had red hair in pulled back into a ponytail. She was wearing the same outfit as the first girl, except in red and the same type of necklace.
“I want you to meet Storm rider and Heat wave. My latest recruits and since none of you are smart enough to figure out my plan I’ll tell you. I have built a giant laser and with it I’m going to destroy a few cities and Titan tower. Try to find me Titans, then you might have a chance.” and with that the screen switched off.
“He’s a clone. Dude that is just so wrong,” said Beastboy
“He’s got a giant laser, dude that is so B class movie,” said D
“It doesn’t matter he’s still got one and we need to find him unless of course you don’t care about the tower getting destroyed,” said Raven looking at D
“Of course I care! I really want to be part of this team,” said D
“That’s what Terra said.” Raven retorted
“Raven he’s not Terra.” said Beastboy
“How do you know? He’s only been here five minutes and you trust him already?” said Raven,
Beastboy sighed.
“Who’s Terra”? Asked D
“I’ll tell you later, right now we need to find Slade” said Robin
“Well he’s going to need a lot of power to fuel that thing of his,” said D
“Yeah, and there’s only three places that can give him that much power.” said Robin
“The power plant on the west side, the Hydro power plant on the north, and the nuclear plant in the south. Cyborg, you and Beastboy check out the power plant. Star, you and I will check out the hydro plant. Raven, you and D have got the nuclear plant. O.K. team move out!”
So they headed to their destinations. Star and Robin were ambushed by some of Slade’s Robots. But they were different. They were now red and orange and they were faster and stronger than the originals. Same for Beastboy and Cyborg. Slade’s new robots and Storm Rider made short work of them, they didn’t stand a chance. They were caught as well. Meanwhile Raven and D were flying towards the nuclear plant. Raven never said a word the whole way until they arrived and D kicked the door in
“KNOCK, KNOCK” roared D
“Yeah that will work. Why don’t you just phone 5 mines ahead and tell him we’re coming?” said Raven dryly.
“Sorry” Replied D
“Just look around and stay out of my way ok? And we’ll get along fine” stated Raven as she started to search between barrels of unknown stuff. D started looking around. He came to the power room where electricity is made. He stayed well away from that. He and electricity were not on the best of terms. D continued looking around. In between to tanks, he came upon Raven on the ground unconscious.
“Raven,” yelled D as he ran over to her. He knelt down beside her
“Come on speak to me”
Suddenly laughter in the background “He, he, she won’t be getting up any time soon” said Heat wave up on one of the tanks “What have you done to her?” said D through gritted teeth.
“Nothing more than what I'm going to do to you” and with that, she attacked, Heat wave fired a fireball straight at D. He picked Raven up over his shoulder and dodged it. The fireball hit the bottom of the tank and it exploded. D put Raven down safely.
“Now before I destroy you I’ve been told to make you an offer. JOIN US, I mean look at her, weak and pathetic. You could do much better.”
D stood over Raven blocking any attack Heat wave might try.
“Why would you try to protect someone like her when you can have someone like me?” said Heat wave
“Don’t make me sick I would never join you”
Heat wave frowned “Fine, be that way. Just so you know I don’t take rejection very well. Actually I don’t take it at all.” Heat Wave fired a fireball at D. He shielded himself barely in time. It deflected off his shield and hit a computer in the background.
Heat wave headed toward the door, “Do you know what’s happening? Of course you don’t, the systems are going critical, and this place is getting ready to explode.” She laughed “So what you going to do? Save your precious Raven or stop me? Can’t do both.” She was just out the door, when she fired another fireball at the ceiling by the door and the whole thing collapsed, blocking the door.
“Oh great, just what I needed.” D ran over to Raven, picked her up, and ran to a rather clear area, put her down, took his jacket off, turned the sleeves inside out and held it above his head. The jacket grew and formed a dome over him and Raven. The holes that the sleeves left sealed just in time as the place exploded.

Inside the dome Raven stirred and sat up “what happened were am I”
“You were knocked out by Heat Wave. She made the nuclear plant explode. I used my jacket to make a protective Dome.” Raven surveyed the surroundings. “Couldn’t you make it a little bigger?” She remarked dryly.
“The reason it’s so small is because I’ve got another dome around the area stopping the nuclear stuff from harming the environment. It’s also speeding up time in this area, so the place isn’t radioactive when we leave. It’s going to be two hours before it’s safe so you better get comfy.”
“Fine” said Raven crossing her legs, getting ready to meditate “Just pretend I’m not here.” She closed her eyes and within a few moments D could hear the familiar ‘Azerath, Metrion, Zinthos’ coming from across the tiny dome.
“Ok well when nobody’s here, I whistle” So he started to whistle. After a few bars, it started to get on Ravens nerves, “Stop it” yelled Raven.
“Hey, I thought you weren’t here” Replied D
“Well I am here, so just stop it,” said Raven growing angry.
“Hey, my dome, my rules.”
Ravens grew even angrier. She felt she could just hit D. Suddenly she stopped. She had just realized something. “What’s going on? I’m angry but my powers are not going haywire.” said Raven rather confused.
“It’s the jacket. All power is suppressed, under this dome, even mine. So you can feel whatever you want, and nothing will blow. You can laugh, cry or be angry.” said D sitting down. He had been leaning against the wall.
“So anyway Raven, you going to tell me who this Terra is?” asked D.
Raven sighed, “To cut a long story short, we found her, she joined the team, I trusted her and she betrayed us.” Answered Raven, clenching her teeth.
“Ouch, and you think I’m going to do the same?” Asked D.
“I don’t know. Maybe, what’s to stop you,” replied Raven.
“Good question. What’s to stop me?” D pretended to ponder this thought. “Well when you were out cold, I got an offer to join Heat wave and Slade. I said no. Do you know why?” Said D
“Why?” asked Raven
“Because I already consider you a friend.”
“Really?” said Raven blushing.
“Yup”
“Friends?” asked D putting out his hand.
“Friends.” said Raven shaking his hand.
“Good. Now that that’s over, let’s go,” D said as the jacket started to shrink.
“But, I thought it’d be two hours before it was safe. It’s only been a half a hour.” said Raven.
“I thought I’d give us time to talk,” replied D grinning. “And it worked, didn’t it?” continued D as he slipped back into the jacket.
“So why two hours?” asked Raven.
“Well I knew you were going to be difficult, so I gave my self plenty of time for my charm to work” laughed D.
“Your Charm?” Replied Raven, skeptically.
“Yeah, why? Anyway let’s get out of here.” said D.
“Let’s call the others.” Suggested Raven, pulling out her com-link. “Robin come in, Robin, Starfire, Beastboy, Cyborg, come in. Someone? Anyone?”
Slade appeared on the screen.
“I’m afraid the titans can’t come to the phone right now, but I’ll be happy to let them know you called.” said Slade
“What have you done with them?” shouted D
“Nothing yet. Meet me at the old warehouse at the north end of the city. Raven will know where it is. You have 30 minutes.” With that, the com-link clicked off.
“We have to go and save them” exclaimed D.
“Follow me” Raven replied, floating out the door.
So D and Raven headed to the old warehouse. The sun was setting when they arrived they stopped outside the big metal door
“You know it’s probably a trap” Said D
“No, really?” Raven said sarcastically, back to her old self. “You ready?”
D opened the door.
A huge light flashed on, nearly blinding Raven.
“Ah D, Raven.” It was Slade. He was on a ledge high in the air. Behind him was a huge laser. It was big attached to the floor. D saw the Titans in a cell chained to a wall. D ran over and stopped just short of the bars. He could fell the electricity running though them. He back away, like I said before, he and electricity weren’t on the best of terms.
“Now D if you want to see your friends again, you’ll do what I say” said Slade
D lowered his head, he had no choice. “Fine, but you have to promise to release my friends.”
“Fine, whatever you say. Now stand over there,” said Slade pointing to the wall. D walked over to the wall.
“I just want to test my new laser” said Slade he pressed a button on his wrist. The laser moved and aimed itself at Raven. It fired in a burst of red light. Raven was frozen to the spot, but suddenly D appeared out of nowhere and pushed her out the way. The laser hit him instead. He was sent through the wall above the door. He landed hard on his upper back and neck; he lay there flat on his back, unable to move out of shock from the blow he just received. Meanwhile Robin had managed to pick the lock on his chains and he was attempting to free the others, but they could not get out of the jail and Raven was having to fight Slade’s new and improved robots all by herself.
Outside D was still on his back a full moon hung overhead. D caught site of it.
Suddenly Ds’ body went stiff and a huge surge of power swept over him. An image of the moon appeared in each lenses of his shades and moved to the center, where they turned blood red. His jacket disappeared and so did his shades, the two red moons stayed and became his eyeballs. His chest began to thump up and down, his skin turned a metal gray and he tripled in height. Every muscle in his body doubled and tripled in size. His hair turned from dark brown to blond, his trousers turned from black to blue, his boots doubled in size. Ds’ mind had gone to sleep and Metal D had awakened.
Inside Raven was losing on her own, Robin, Star, Cyborg and Beastboy were cheering her on and trying to escape at the same time. Suddenly a huge monsters’ blood curling roar filled the room. Everyone froze.
The big metal door buckled as Metal D came through. He let out another roar; the robots attacked Metal D at Slades’ command. He picked up the nearest one by the head and punched it in the chest. The body went flying, the head still in his hand he flung it at Slade and it missed by only a few feet.
Over in the cell
“Dude who is that?” asked Beastboy in surprise.
“Who ever he is, it appears he’s on our side,” said Starfire
“Wait, didn’t D get blasted outside?” Asked Robin,
“You don’t mean… you can’t be saying that’s D,” said Cyborg a little worried.
Metal D was still taking the Robots apart. Slade caught sight of Storm Rider and Heat Wave headed for the door.
“Where are you going?” shouted Slade still on the balcony
“Sorry Slade, our pay check doesn’t cover him,” shouted Heat wave in reply.
Slade pressed a few buttons in his wrist. The laser took aim at Metal D and fired. It hit Metal D Square in the chest and he dropped to one knee and looked at Slade, gave an all mighty roar and jumped and landed on the balcony not far from him. He picked Slade up and tore him in half. It was another Slade robot. He crushed the remaining parts. Metal D looked down and saw Raven. She was trying to free her friend’s. He jumped down and walked over to Raven.
He picked her up with both hands and brought her Face to face with himself. He looked at her for the longest time and one word kept going around his head, “Friend”
“Metal D friend?”
Raven looked into his eyes and nodded, “Friend.” She confirmed
He put Raven down and look at the cell. He grabbed the bars and ripped them out along with half the wall beside it. His eyes suddenly turned black and he dropped to one knee and changed back to D, shades, jacket and everything. He was out before he hit the floor.
“Dude, he never told us about that.” said Beastboy
“Let’s get him back to the tower” said Robin
“ARE YOU CRAZY??? WHAT IF HE HAS ANOTHER SPAZ AND ATTACKS US?” Yelled Cyborg, waving his hands in the air.
“He will not attack us,” replied Raven, as she surrounded him with a black aura and levitated D in the direction of the car.
“HOW DO YOU KNOW?” yelled Cyborg getting in her face.
“Because we’re his friends. Didn’t you see what happened? He had Raven in his hands, he could have killed her but he didn’t. He called her his friend, so I say we take him back” replied Robin
“Ok, but he’s not going in my car,” said Cyborg folding his arms
“CYBORG” yelled Robin.
“Ok but he better not damage it, or I’ll whoop his butt, I don’t care who he is.” grumbled Cyborg.
“Good thing you agreed, I hate to make you.” Said Raven with the slightest hint of teasing in her voice.
