i am trying to upload a sig but when i try it says that the image is too big

i got these awesoem sigs form Barka and iw ant to upload one of them but when i try to do it, it says that the file cannot be larger than 30KB. so i went into the properties of the pic and it was 198KB. is there any way i can change that?

Yes...use IrfanView ...you can make it smaller with that.....it should be a JPG file too....

the only way i can make it small enough is if i save it too my desktop but then it saves as a bitmap image. is there a way i can change that?
