umm but the problem is with this thing is that nintendo and ps2 (sony) would refuse to work with eachother because they are at eachothers throats all the time sega and nintendo and sega and sony versions would work like soul calibur 2

nintendo could put in more nintendo characters as like sony could dump crash bandicoot and jak in there lol

Star Wolf needs to be in the game and give Fox his staff from Star Fox Adventures.

Sounds interesting. He's called Sly Cooper. Star Wolf be good, although I don't know much about him only that he's Foxes worst enemy.

Tales of Symthonia
PNO3 etc

I doubt Viewtiful Joe could even be put into a game like SSB. Considering that he's the only one with time powers, it'd be difficult to make him play the same as the rest of the cast.

I doubt that Tales of Symphonia characters would make it, because they are owned by Namco and the Tales series is predominantly a PlayStation series. Though I'd love to pitch Lloyd or Kratos against Link and see what happens.

All the SSB characters come from long-established Nintendo games/series. They all originally came from the Big N, regardless of whatever third-party company produced later games (such as Namco or Rare). With that in mind, there's just not that many well-known Nintendo characters that weren't already in SSBM.

Sure, they can always dip into the hundreds of available Pokemon, but I thought the four in last game was more than enough. They can dig out some more characters from Fire Emblem, but Marth and Roy were already the two most well-known. Maybe another glance through the NES library will provide some ideas.
